[APPROVED] Clean up LoL Reviewed/Verified Boosters thread:

Thread in question: REVIEWED/VERIFIED Boosters:

The general practice when reviewing the above thread, and identifying whose verified thread link, tag and verified rank to remove has historically been met by the below stipulations (I used to do this previously myself every 9 months, unsure what the general practice is now):

1. Inactive from Sythe for 9 months - thread link removed, and [VERIFIED] title revoked.*
2. Inactive from Sythe 12 months - thread link, [VERIFIED] title, and verified-rank removed.^

In the instance a user is banned/DNT, all 3 are removed.

*If a user returns after 9 (approx length of 1 LoL season) months, but within the 12 months range, their respective perks can be reinstated.
^If a user returns after 12 months (approx length of 1 LoL season ending, preseason being played, and then the new season starting), perks are reinstated based on the relevant boosting-proof being provided.

Naturally circumstances will vary for different boosters/companies, as such, staff/verifiers are to judge on a case-by-case basis.

Overall the aim is to make it relatively easy to maintain ones perks, so not to push people away from the website. This can be seen in practice by how easy it is to maintain said perks - a booster simply needs to boost 1 game a year/and OR simply be active on this forum every 12 months.

In saying that, the Reviewed/Verified thread still needs to be cleaned out, as there are a heap of inactive/banned users, that need their respective perks amended/removed.

I believe your 1st point is a bit too nice, maybe make it 1 to 3 months, because most people want the best and the most reliable not those who comes and goes.
It will keep the list fresh as well.

1-3 months is far too often. It will become far too much of a burden on said verifiers, and also on the boosters/companies.

I would suggest 6 months at the minimum.

To note, when I did it and created the system, it was a 6 month/9 month operation, dependant on a case-by-case elevation.

 

Completely agree I just think it should be updated like 3-4 months

Assuming this is approved and we're allowed to keep "verified roles" updated. What do you propose happens to all the miniranks that were earned years ago? I know people who have challenger miniranks here, but are actually low Diamond currently. Leave them be?

 

Tbh, this doesn't need to be approved, it can just be done. I always did it previously.

Leave those users be, unless they're actively offering boosting services, then their minirank rank will need to be updated.

 

Although league is the toxic waste to the video game life, I agree that every 6 months any boosting thread should be cleaned up/recertified. It helps verify that we have good boosters running services.

 

@Gladiator approve this, if it actually needs to be - i'll do the clean up myself this weekend.
