Well, some people it's their own fault, others chance. I like to live by this philosophy: Shit happens. Inevitably we will have a tough time in life, and most of the time, won't get help. Just gotta do you best with the cards you're dealt.

 

If you put yourself in the situation of pain like these people suffer then you will have pity on those people. I have not been in that situation before, but I do have pity because it's not their fault that they're an 11 year old girl and they can't fight back a 25 year old man to avoid rape, clearly not their fault. Not their fault they suffer from starvation because they were born in Africa, when in their mother's stomach they can't tell their mother to go to another place where there is food and resources, not their fault. So don't say it's their fault if it's not because that's a dumb reason when it is CLEARLY not their fault.

You cant help everyone. I am personally not saddened by the fact that people like this in the world exiest, this might be selfish, but it isn't my fault. I have my own life to run, I do not have time to go around and trying to help all these people. When in fact they ALL cant be helped. I do not wish these people have it this way, but I wont grieve over it.

Well, really depends on the situtation if they have had a hard time from what isnt their fault. But I try not to feel sad about their situations since their is clearly nothing I can do to make a proper change.

Well... I look at it like this- Even if it wasn't their fault, it wasn't mine either. There is nothing I can do to help them, so pitying them is just a waste of time.

 

Honestly, my dad didn't start out well, and thank heavens we have a pretty good life. If everyone busts their ass of to make some money, no one would be 'less fortunate' then everyone can help the poor people in Africa :3

But sometimes i feel it's my responsibilty to help them.
Like, If someone is crying. I'll try my hardest to cheer them up.

No, I do not take pity on anyone. If there is something you wish to be changed then you should get off your ass and change it. If you won't deal with it yourself then you shouldn't expect other people to do it for you.

This not only goes for people in general but for people I know in real life including best friends and family. I mean sure I will loan them money etc. if they need it but only because they might be able to help me out someday. overall unless I can benefit from you (and I will help you in return) then you are worthless to me. My mind and ideals of my concept on life are very complicated and would take me a chapter of writing or more to clarify everything.

those people do not have a choice in where they are grown up, they have no opportunities or privileges that we get. they do not get the required necessities in life to start a normal one. of coarse the rest of the planet are greedy pigs ourselves included.

Actually I have no feeling for them. I don´ t think many people have. If they would have real feelings they would go theirselves in Africa to help those children.
