RWT Ban

Hi Guys would love to hear ideas on how to prevent rwt bans? Have you ever been banned before? And how much did you trade on it when your account got banned? Would be nice to see some ideas on how to prevent this.

 

Never had a ban and traded approx 20b+ on rs3 and 6b+ on osrs on the same acc

 

It all depends on your luck and who you sell to. I had a high level account that had no history of RWT and it got banned within hours after selling the first time.

There's no way to "reduce" bans despite what people will tell you. Trading items looks more suspicious, it's just luck and how much you trade at the end of the day.

Jagex aren't an indie company who aren't incapable of tracking an account's activity, seeing someone suddenly trade their bank over to a level 3 is an instant give-away. Sometimes you slip away, sometimes Jagex will catch you with detection, other times someone will tweet you to Mod Weath.

If you value the account more than the gold, then don't sell gold.

Buying on the other hand is safe.

 

Pretty much a myth unless you trade for a living. Even then, haven't encountered anyone getting one lately.

Exactly. I am starting to buy/sell gold and would love to know ways to prevent bans.

 

Was this on a level 3 or maxed main?

laundering is a form of giving money in little amounts to minimise suss

 

Never had any issues with rwt and I've traded 2b+ in single trades. Use old high lvled members accounts. Refrain from trading lvl 3s, and stick to at least lvl 20+.

I have a question for y'all. If i get banned with my main accounts for rwting do they ban my mules which have gold on them as well? they are all on same ip

 

The only real answer here is, sometimes. It really just depends. Sometimes it's Jagex manually targeting a person in which they wipe all the accounts associated. Other times it's just you being flagged and that one specific account gets taken down but the rest remain.

I've never banned for RWT personally, but I don't hear people getting banned for it often unless they are trading a lot at once.

 

Jagex only care if you're selling gold.

They stated in a Q&A that they can't ban those who buy gold as they would be banning 60% of the playerbase.

 

Yep, if you're buying, you will be safe. Otherwise, Jagex would hurt itself more by banning both the seller and the buyer.
