[DENIED] Change amount of supports needed for TWC Removals

There seems to be alot of TWC removals pending as of recent, which is probably because of the lack of staff activity / lack of staff team members.

My suggestion is to change the amount of supports/non-supports needed to remove/abstain a TWC from 5 to 3. In the majority of cases (probably somewhere from 95-99%), after there's 3 supports or no supports, the other staff members also vote in that same way anyways.

 

I'm going to say no support simply because of the fact you shouldn't put yourself in a situation where a TWC is needed.

 

Your suggestion is to lower the amount of supports on a TWC due to the fact that there are inactive staff?

Would it not just be easier to demote inactive staff members and then put active staff members onto the team instead?

 

No support from me. Don’t put yourself in that position in the first place. If you get a TWC, you’ll have to wait out the process

 

Yeah I like to think the frustrating wait times on TWC removals is part of the punishment. No support, let them suffer a bit.

 

I might consider 4 instead of 5, but 3 is too low. So I'll give it partial support. The problem is that staff are on at vastly different times and days so I do agree it can be a bit aggitating..

 

I'd much rather see something put in place to ensure staff activity on appeals and pardons, if that's an issue currently. Lowering the bar to get cleared of TWC, DNT, bans, etc just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

 

3 is way too low. As of currently, there are 15 staff members excluding Rich and Matthew. There should be no reason we can't get 1/3 of the team to vote on TWC removals.

Going to go ahead and deny this but thanks for the suggestion. We'll nudge the staff team and have them vote on those in a timely manner.
