Hey, can everyone name bands they class as emo and i'll add it to the list. I have tons of bands that people class as 'emo' and i'm looking for more. If anyone disagrees to any band thats on the list just say so and state why please.

I think Blessthefall is hardcore, not emo. Alesana seems pretty emo to me.

 

The Offspring isn't emo.. not even close.
They're alternative.

Why the hell is Offspring on there...?

Simple Plan.

 

Are you retarded, no offense but the offspring are far far far far away from being emo. they are punk rock.

An bullet for my valentine is not emo, they are simply heavy metal. If you listen to there lyrics and there sound they are nothing like emo, although just half ass listening might give you the accusation on a song or 2.

Simple plan is pop punk with a song or 2 making the exception. overall though they are not emo.

 

I don't really listen to The Offspring, i only like their new album. But i went into JB Hi Fi and they have all their music in categories, rock, alternative etc. They also have a section called 'emo' and in that was The Offspring so i was like 'eh, ok i'll agree with them'. Anyway, majority of people think Bullet For My Valentine are emo, when someone says they listen to metal i'm like "yeah i listen to a couple metal bands like BFMV" and they are always like "BFMV is emo f00l".

To the guy who posted the pictures, i've seen them all thousands of times before, they aren't anything new. Also a doctor told me you do less damage cutting 'down the street' instead of 'across the road'.

Anyway i'll take out the bands that people think aren't emo and replace them with others mentioned.

Wrong, Simple plan are classed as 'alternative' also classed as Emo, they have a whole album full of 'emo' songs.
