Backseating

I was just wondering exactly how the community of Sythe defines the word, "Backseating", because I have been accused of it once because I told a guy not to post unhelpful spam in other peoples help topics once. What does it mean? Thanks.

 

AFAIK it means "DONT DO THE F#©K'N' MODS JOB".

 

Backseat Modding is when you take the power of a mod into your own hands, posting advice and rules on other's threads. No one likes it to begin with, and it also makes you look like a suck up. Oh and plus, the mods have their job and they'd rather do it without others doing it for them.

 

It also means not saying things like "mods lock this plz" or anything.
