Thanks to illusion, the old thread was locked. RID and Mark I would like for you both to stay out of this topic as it only tends to cause problems. We all have our opinions and we all think the other party is bullshitting somewhat, so to prevent any further clashes of the giant egos - just stay out.

    Greetings Sythers!

I am Nick [Exarctus], Global Moderator, long time scripter and Contributer Manager at RSCA (www.rscheata.net). RSCA hosts nexus, a platform utility designed by Eric [ Ruler] and Mark [GenoDemoN] to host scriptable bots. IBot is the only bot currently on the platform. IBot is a reflection bot backed by colour, it exceeds all current bots on the market in terms of reliability, power and support. RSCA has the largest number of experienced scripters present on any RS cheating community. To gain the best from iBot it is adviseable to buy pro, or generate scripts yourself and earn it through our contributer system however there is a free version which will work just as well for the purposes of this script.

Two months ago I decided to take it upon myself to create an affordable but superb Mage Training Arena script for the nexus /w iBot bot. My intention is not to advertise the site, but to advertise the script - if you wish to read more on the progress of the script (now entering Beta) you can visit the following link - you are not required to create an account to read the information!

    http://www.rscheata.net/tp/index.php/board,300.0.html

The script is hosted on iCredits, a forum based purchasing utility which allows scripters to sell their scripts for iBot and forum members to buy them with a currency called iCredits. ICredits are bought through paypal and there are no fee's for buying them - I pick up the fees. 1$ is equivelant to 100 iCredits.

The script is a monthly auth and is not time based. The script costs 10$ per month (1000 iCredits) and during that time you are entitled to weekly updates.

Unlike RID, the script will still be hosted during update-time so you will recieve no down time regarding the script. You will recieve aproximately one day downtime for iBot every week for when Runescape updates.

The beta should be starting tonight and I would like a member of staff or two to join the beta for verification purposes - you will recieve an auth free for the beta period and for a week there on after. If a member of staff wishes to join the beta, please PM me. I will not be handing out the source for obvious reasons and I don't expect you to be nieve enough to think that I have copied any of RID's material. I will guide you through the instalation process if you agree to participate.

I'm sure you have questions after reading this, once this script is verified on sythe I will be using both sites as a place for FAQ's/queiries so I do not expect you to become active on RSCA if you do not want to. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to PM me or reply in a comment.

If anyone from RSCA reads this and would like to verify I am who I say I am, then please go ahead

    Thanks,

    Nick.

    hi.

I'd volunteer if any programs are scanned and deemed safe.

Also, post on rsca confirming yourself about your sythe name - screenie that n post it here to show also.

Its good that RID has some competition.

So you're saying that it will cost $25 per month ($15 for Ibot if paid for monthly and $10 for the script) to use ExaMTA, if the user wants to minimize it?

Since ExaMTA needs Ibot to operate, isn't the script down for the same approximate one-day per week that Ibot is?

if a user wants to minimise it, yes they can buy pro. Users do not have to pay to for pro to use this script - i already have 200 monthly auth'd users on my other payscripts, roughly 80 of which don't use pro. There are several advantages to buying pro, the ability to minimise the bot is one of them. I am not advertising pro persay, I'm advertising the script.

yes the script will be down for one day a week on average, however runescape do not always update every week so there are situations where there is no downtime for 1 week-2 weeks. Mark/Eric tend to update the hooks within an hour or two of being notified that the bot is down.

Ignore "tom jr" he always leads into a circular arguement.

As to the 1 day down-time, for the reader's knowledege. Barring a major runescape update(ie gfx, new skill) we usually update within 6 hours. Anything over 10 hours we credit the lost time + a little extra to all pro users.

Lite users get what they pay for and typically updated later on usually the next.

Or you could use my one for RSbot... its free (except for alch which needs $86 more till release) its minimizable.. and you can run it on as many accounts as you want.. for as long as you want ;)

    Cheers,
    Bug5532

Edit: forgot to add.. its also open source ;)

For somebody who bitches about "slandering" others (as you complained about to no end on the thread you're (incorrectly) using for reference), you sure love to do the slandering yourself. I actually helped your programmer by providing a link to RSCA that verified that he was who he said he was. And as a thank you, you flame me.

It isn't going to work here, either.

We've established that it will cost $25 each and every month somebody wants to use this script, unless they don't care about it being minimized (which almost everybody does).

We've established that (like RID), the script won't work while Runescape is being updated, until Ibot works again. So the point of the script staying hosted while RID's is down isn't a selling point; it won't work until Ibot is "fixed", the same as RID won't work until it's fixed.

So now, blowing up the SLANDEROUS theory that I talk in circles, let's branch out with more questions:

Somebody who scripts for Ibot isn't going to be unbiased. Do you have any reputable, respected independent sources (who aren't Nexus advertisers or members) to back up these claims?

Isn't "monthly" time-based? Regardless of whether or not a user can get more time per dollar than with RID, the user still has to pay every month.

Have any Sythe moderators taken you up at the chance to verify your script (and increase sales dramatically) in return for a bit less than $2.50 worth of free credit (Ibot Pro extra)?

And while we're on that subject:

Do you have Sythe's permission to use their site to promote your commerical script and commercial bot?

That should be sufficiently outside of the "circle". Any further personal attacks will be reported to the moderators. Let's try to keep this on topic.

RID has downtime lasting over 3 weeks. I have downtime lasting a maximum of one day per week. Downtime on RSCA is creditted, as mark said with extra auth time if it exceeds 10 hours so really, this is a selling point.

Monthly is not time-based in the sense of RID. Time-based implies that your authentication lasts for a certain number of hours or minutes and you use up these minutes continously whenever you use the application. Monthly inplies that you can use it for that month whenever and for however long you want.

Two sythe moderators have contacted me regarding verification, and they will be added to the auth list in a short while, I'm working through some improvements so for the time being the beta is on hold.

I do not need permission to advertise on this site, my pitch is for my script, not the bot. I understand that sythe has had a few run-ins with RSCA in the past so this is the reason why that is solely my pitch.

In regard to Bugs comment, there is a potential for your RsBot to be very dangerous however confirming it's viability as an undectable botting platform is nearly impossible - illusion and those sorts of patriotic bot scripters tend to brainwash users into thinking that a botting platform which uses BCEL is undecetable when in reality, no-one can say. I've seen the source to your script and in all honesty it lacks significantly in quality to what I've produced. I believe in minimalist coding - I will write code in such a way that minimises the amount of writing I have to do while maximising the quality and effectiveness. The source is already breaching 8k lines and arguably the most advanced script ever produced for any botting platform such as rsBot/iBot. The chat-handler is arguably the most advanced on any script currently availible, Having not seen RID's recent source I cannot compare to his however basing his chat from an earlier version, mine is far more human-like in the way it builds a reponse/statement, rather than randomly selecting/morphing it.

I would like to keep this thread to my MTA script only - I will pm moderators to remove any posts unrelated to my MTA script, comparitors between other scripts is fine however there is no need to hijack my thread and start advertising "rsBot MTA" / "RID MTA".

Good to know that you can state with authority that you don't need permission to advertise on this site. I've seen countless others banned for doing just that. That means you have Sythe's permission to do all of this.

The fact remains that anybody who wants to use your script is going to pay $25 a month to use it and minimize it.

Good luck selling anybody on paying that.

When RID is in operation there is no downtime per week or anything, except on the rare occasion there's a graphical update (which takes about a day or two to sort out), or a major bot update (but after V4 is complete, there will be no major update in the foreseeable future, possibly for a few years). Just wanted to clear that up.

I am not breaking any rules nor am I trying to, so I won't be banned.

People do not have to pay 25$ a month to use my script. They have to pay 10$ per month. You seem to get the two confused. It is optional to them if they want to buy pro but there are ways of minimising lite through using a virtual machine. if you have nothing to contribute other than spam/pointless critiques then please, stay out.

Same goes for you, similar flaming started on the other thread between users which got the thread locked. An odd decision by the moderator who locked it when he could have simply removed the users flaming but I guess we aren't all blessed with common sense.

Well given how you seem to love basing your bots performance off user results, I'll do the same. When I see that you havnt brought the bot down for more than a week I'll change my opinion however in the meantime given your extensive history of having immensely long down-times, I'm not foolish enough believe you.

Exi you obviously don't know shit about the client. I know FAR more than you know and you know it, Don't lie. As of now there is no difference in the "Detectability" from nexus to rsbot. RSBot in no shape or form is "Dangerous". I think you fear the fact that RSBot will surpass nexus in the future and you will lose sales. DO NOT MAKE UP BULLSHIT. Yes being COMPLETELY undetectable is near impossible but even nexus has issues with detectability. In fact i've been banned more using nexus than i have using rsbot. Being a contributor at rsca for around a year i realized that rsbot has WAY more protental than nexus ever will. Yes so you have your little "colors" that will never "break". So you think that you have more "reliability" but lets be honest in one update scripts usually break like crazy, being a ex-contrib i would know so. Also unlike nexus i can run a script for more than 5 HOURS but you wouldn't know now would you? But you rsca morons fail to realize how many intelligent users are hidden among the leechers at rsbot. And yes Qauters Updater is insanely legit. I feel like YOU feel like you know it all when you obviously don't. Just face the fucking facts and quit telling lies that you can't even backup.

Hello, well done on entering this market Exi (Mage training arena). 1st of all I thought this would be great and the script probably will be, however the price is a bit much for what's on offer. I'd just like to say that in RID you are given a set amount of time and with his new update people will be limited on how much time is used per day/week. But don't take this as a bad thing, RID has safety of the welfare of our accounts and I think due to this many of his customers return to him for his help.

With the script your offering people may recieve the wrong impression, buying unlimited time for a month some people may think that they have to get as much time done as possible and therefore could result in abuse of the script leading into a potential ban.

Also I would just like to show people what I have just thought about, you buy 100 hours with RID at $12. I would say a nice amount of time to bot each day whilst being safe to a certain extent would be 3 hours a day.
If you paid for 100 hours and used 3 hours a day in a typical month you would have used about all the time. So if someone were to use your script which costs $10 per month there really isn't that much difference if you bot for 3 hours everyday. But this is where RID is more flexible than your time as people may go on holiday/have problems with internet/or problems in real life and may not be able to access the internet or runescape. If they bought your monthly auth they could end up paying for only a few days however with RID you get to use your time whenever (except the new limit coming out).

Im not saying that your script won't be worth the $10 as I have used the script, however I will say that flexibility concerning time with your script also has it's cons, maybe something you would want to change in the future.

    Humoured.

    *Sigh*

If your going to write a response atleast don't contradict yourself. IBot is now predominantly a reflection bot, there is little difference in power between rsBot and nexus. What we lack in reflection methods we will soon have (we're lacking detailed interfaces, thats it) . What nexus has over rsBot is the fact it can use colour along with a multitude of other platform-side abilities. You've even said to me on msn that rsBot isn't better than iBot but supposedly rsBot2 will be so why, given that rsbot2 isn't even out yet are you trying to argue your case in a completely different direction? As I said before, you nor anyone else can determine the potential hazards of RSBot nor can you state that nexus has loader related detectabiity issues because it's not open source, thats just plain foolish. I really do wish you'd stop brainwashing people into thinking that you know what you talking about when you don't, this form of blind patriotic behaviour is becomming tiresome.

Now stay out of my thread, I will get moderators to remove your posts - you got the last thread locked and I don't want that happening again.

I'm sure that if this were the RID thread, a bot which operates solely on colour, you would have said something quite different. My bot operates on reflection, not colour.

Thankyou Humoured, it's nice to see that you spent the time writing out your concerns instead of flaming! Firstly, the price is very, very cheap compartively to the current mainstay MTA bot, I offer more than than RID so how do you justify your argument? RID auth-time isn't more flexible than mine. Sure you can use those 100 hours whenever you want but why would you pay for a month of my bot if you don't intend on using it? If users are going to be absent for a period of time then I would credit that period with auth-time respectively. It's up to the user how they use that time, they may choose to power the script out and use it for 10 hours a day for 31 days, or they may chose to use it for one hour a day every 2 days. Whichever way you look at it, RID charges 10$ or however much it is for 100 hours whereas I charge 10$ for 744 hours. I realise you won't want to bot for all that time obviously, but it's down to the user how they plan to use that time and I feel that having a whole month is much better than having 100 hours for the same price.

Nick, are you going to give us a time auth of 744 hours that we can use throughout like 1-3 months before it expires or is it only a "month" per se worth of auth before it expires?
