Explanation of the trade: Was selling gold to them. They collected half of the ammount that I had for sale and then stopped responding mid-trade. It has been over 24hours without a payment or a response.

Amount scammed: 600M at $0.70/m . ($420 USD)

How they scammed: already wrote this above.

I just want to say that I have been doing business with Won for a very long time and have never had any problems with them. This is the first time I have ran into an issue.

At the moment I am doubting that they scammed because I didn't even finish handing over all of my gold before they stopped responding. (still had 500 or 600m left to give them)

I believe maybe their internet cut out or something similar is preventing them from coming online.

I suggest placing DNT until I am paid.

Embarrassing typo my mistake

 

I'd like to also add that during a trade I had done this past week for 2066M OSRS Won_gold had done the same thing mid-trade after receiving 1000M/2066M, they made me wait before proceeding to finish the trade after I asked to finish the trade. This needs to be addressed with Won_gold to keep doing trades as it isn't just the OP it's occurring with and is indeed a valid concern to the report.

Anne has spoken to a WonGold employee on WeChat and supposedly the whole company shut down March 14 due to a criminal incident at their office. They do not expect to come back online for at least 2-3 weeks. Supposedly there is an investigation being done and the owners are stuck in jail...

It all sounds weird to me but it's China. Obviously nobody should trade them until they return and repay their debts. But there is hope they will return and resume business.

 

i would like to added this to this report i have the same problem wongold i give him some osrs gp and they did not paid me then no one answer from March 14 i always give him gold then he paid me when im asking for cash out

I've gone ahead and banned @Won_gold o_0 in the event that something else is going on as a precaution. All debts will need to be repayed to resolve this.
