Chances of getting banned from elo boosting?

So last season I got banned for getting boosted to Diamond 5 with a really high WR+ they had a vpn and this season I got myself to plat 1. So is it safe to get boosted to plat 1 to diamond 4 even if my booster uses a vpn and play my champs? (top)

 

I've always thought of it as very low. I'm surprised to see you got banned at such a mediocre level, I woulda thought that riot wouldn't waste their time of day monitoring diamond 5 accounts and lower so my best guess is that it was flagged from a report.

With regards to the VPN,

 

Ahhh I see, so do you think riot is gonna monitor my account since it was I got banned from a boost? And i prob shouldnt get boosted?

 

If you're referring to the account that has already gotten a ban for boosting, I wouldn't risk it myself, my dude.

Perhaps try duo queue or something?

 

3 of my friends got boosted last season, all 3 got temp banned and stripped of their rewards

 

I got a duoQ boost a while back from plat 1 to dia 5, still got caught. I'd assume riot flag accounts previously caught boosting, so really wouldn't recommend a second boost.

 

Wow, very suprised to see these results. I've played on friends accounts and basically boosted them from silver - high plat with very high winrates with no repercussions

 

I help run GGBoost.com - so here's my advice in terms of minimizing your ban risk to very near 0:

#1 - Don't wait for right before season end to get boosted. You have a bigger chance of being caught if you get a big boost right before season end in order to get rewards.

#2 - Watch out for small shops, some of them that don't have the reputation to find a good team of boosters. These guys are much more likely to use macros on your account which is a big risk obviously. They also can't afford to be as picky with who they allow to boost.

#3 - Make sure your booster is using a VPN from a similar location as your regular IP.

 

My good friend @Blaze regularly purchase elo boosts so his comments are well regarded.

Generally the odds are very slim. Like r2 suggested, don't purchase a boost right before the season ends.

You must be very unlucky.

 

If those friends are from around the area, that makes sense then why there were no repercussions. Usually, the booster is from another country, and that can easily get flagged unless they use a vpn, which still shows that you are playing on a different machine than before and getting a better win rate.

 

The chances are actually insanely low. Unless you go from gold>challenger with a completely diff champ pool, sums on new keys, IP changes massively, you likely will not get banned.

The chances are super slim if the service actually uses paid premium VPN, provides it to the boosters and makes sure that they properly use it. I havent met a "big" service that does it.. They usually just tell boosters that they have to use VPN and provide them with links to free ones. While its semi effective much bether method is using VPN from your state/country, thats how we do it in chiboost.

We are also the only company that released their ban ratio for elo boosting in 2018 season.

I got boosted gold 4 to plat 5 , 3 seasons ago about half way through the season. About a month later I got hit with a 2 week ban or a month ? Stripped of my border from last season and told 1 more time it’s perm ban. I used a pretty big service company too. Sad thing was I could of gotten to plat myself if I had more free time . I hear they get you by your keys changing like if you use flash on f and someone changes it at a diff location from a diff ip. Sucks for me cause I only play with my razer naaga mouse and use 1234 instead of qwer

 

What you can get banned from duo queing since when?

 

Very low chance from my experience, with the almost 100 jobs i've completed i've never had someone been banned for it.

 

If you pay someone to duo queue with you, instead of having them logging on your account, you’ll never get banned!!!
