Guide to Falador Chest Drop Trading

Since not everybody has a lot of def/prayer (aka 1 def/ 1 prayer pures) we need other methods of transfer



This method is a good way to get around 750k-1.5 Mil/ HR from one account to another regardless of level

Now you may be wondering, isn't drop trading simple as put in, pull, pick up?
The answer is NO, there are many other things you must watch out for, and rules to follow to ensure a safe and successful drop trade.

Here are some rules we must follow

ALWAYS
1. CHECK, CHECK, AND CHECK AGAIN, make sure the room is EMPTY common places for noobs to hide are
- OUTSIDE of the room
- UPSTAIRS
- BEHIND the stairs
- On the OTHER SIDE of the room
- In the building that leads to the MINE



2. Make sure you are dropping UNDER 50K - remember, prices change, there are times when rune platebody market value is OVER 50K, such as today when it rose to 50098 = 100 Timer!



3. Make sure the chest is empty, more items = MORE BALLOONS YOU HAVE TO POP before you get your item.

4. REMEMBER, there is a world hopping delay, IF YOU JUST LOGGED OUT, WAIT 30 SECONDS BEFORE DROPPING ANOTHER ITEM IN ANOTHER WORLD.

*******I experimented, notes always seem to appear a lot later than unoted items, the reason my pics show noted items is because my main ran out of members and i couldn't unote the plate i bought off Grand Exchange, but don't drop noted items yourself (unless you're in my situation and have to). ***
stackables split up, hence MORE BALLOONS you need to pop



2. Believe another person when they say something along the lines of
"I'm tired, I think I'll go sleep"- THEY ARE WAITING TO LOOT YOU AND WILL LOG BACK IN.



3. Have your PRIVATE CHAT turned on, or ADD ANYONE at the chest. The noobs only want to know what world you in so they can LOOT YOU!

Now that you know your Do's and Don'ts here is a step-by-step procedure for drop trading

1. Open TWO Runescape pages to the same world, type in the username and password of the acount you want to get the money onto on the second page.



2. Log in on the account with the money, CHECK the room, CHECK the chest, Make sure your other account can log in on time, if there is something wrong hop to the next world.



3. Place the item in the chest and PULL IMMEDIATLY, then IMMEDIATLY LOG OUT.



4. Click login on the other page (it should be pre-set), and start to pop.



5. After 1-12 balloons (if you did everything right it should appear in first 12, I've done this over 400 times, I would know), you should recieve your ONE item. Success!

*** CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF ***

THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS "HOT ZONES"
it doesn't matter which balloon you pop, the prize is not predetermined in the balloon, but rather determined after you pop a balloon, thus two people popping the same balloon could both get a prize, (I've proven this)

Requested was proof of this claim to no hot zones -- so I'm going to back my claims
My experiment - I did a series of ten drops in which I located my character in the back of the room (opposite the chest) to pop. I never moved my character out of the back and successfully got nine out of ten, which is about what you would get in the supposed "hot zone".

Another experiment to determine whether drop was predetermined within the balloon or determined after a balloon is popped-
I had a small group of friends gather in a room, in the chest i put in a bunch of random items, then at the same time all of us popped the same balloon, and in multiple cases more than one person got a drop from the same balloon. So, what does this mean? Just further proving my point of the non-existence of "hot zones". I have hypothesized that when a balloon is popped it triggers a random generation of a prize selected from the chest much like how the drop is determined from fighting a monster. This would make sense, why would Jagex make two seperate systems when they could use a pre-existing one.

My point? Who cares where you pop, just keep popping.
This also busts the myth that when someone walks in during a drop the item appears near them, so if someone walks in, KEEP POPPING, dont waste precious time running to them which is why people end up losing their drop.


*** A NICE WAY TO QUICKLY FIND A WORLD ***
Get a few lvl 3 accounts and put them all in the chest room, as you are hopping from one world to the next cycle through the lvl 3s till you find one thats empty. This saves lots of time because you wont have to wait the 40 second world hopping delay and when you find world you can use it immediately because your main and account you're dropping to wont have recently logged in.
Example
world 8 - log in using account1
world 9 - log in using account2
world 10- log in using account3
world 11- log in using account4
world 12- log in using account1
and so on, you only need 4 accounts, by the 4th the 1st will have already cleared the delay.


*** GOOD WORLDS ***

The f2p worlds between 8 and 20 are better than the ones after, why?
Most people tend to go to more obscure worlds such as 165, and as a result so do the looters, thus nobody is in 8-20 which are generally assumed to be full but are really in fact empty.


*** GOOD TIME ***
1 AM - 3 AM is the best time (US EASTERN)


Currently I do around 25 plates a night, I average 24.2 successes per 25 (96.8%), if I can do it, so can you.

very very common guide you just ripped it from some1 you have no pictures and does not go into that much detail so i give this a 4/10

 

1. i wrote this on my own
2. if you look at the other guides they lack many important things
3. i've corrected many errors on other guides
4. look at my pics, theres too many thats why they just links but they're there
5. as you can see from my pure, i have way more experience than the other guide writers, 500+ plates dropped

You have not proven anything, there ARE hot zones. IF you have truly dropped 500+ plates (which i doubt, you probobly dropped two and got them, then shit yourself) then you would know that there are certain areas where the item will most likely show up. EX: ITems mostly apear in line with the chest/door.

Nopicnoproof.

 

.. alright, then i challenge you to repeat the experiment i did

drop trade as usual but place your account in the back of the room and dont move to the front, the item will always appear, which proves my point that the drop is determined AFTER you pop the balloon and not predetermined within the balloon, and also examine my pic of lv 52 with like 20 mil stuff on then tell me how many plates i did

 

Well, considering he has a ton of pictures, I'd have to say you're wrong and did a lot of people a favor by not making this guides 5 times as long by using image codes.

Who cares if there's a link in your sig? This guide offers something new and contradictory. I normally hate it every time someone makes a Party Room drop trading guide. They are all the same and usually, frankly, suck. At least it appears he spent plenty of time getting pictures and information together and being up to back up his arguments with facts and things to do yourself. So get off his back, don't be such a hardass because you've got a similar guide.

 

this guide may not be ripped but is very common and doesnt have anything new compared to other guides that i have read.

and plz compare my guide with all others written on same topic, you'll find many differences also known as IMPROVEMENTS.

I do not claim to be the first one to drop trade in fally chest, I am only presenting what I believe to be IMPROVED ideas on the topic, which I spent time researching and experimenting on.

You faggots need to appreciate what other people do on these forums. I agree people rip guides and stuff but if you are going to accuse someone who has wasted an hour of their time writting something for the benifit of others i suggest you spend an hour of your time gathering proof that his guide is ripped when hes clearly got his own pictures. And just because you think its common, doesnt mean someone else will.. Here read this faggot:

About the hotzones...If I was to put in loads of junk, Then the rune plate, would it make a difference to if it dropped in the hotzone or not?
Do the most expensive items drop in the hotzone or how do it work

750k-1.5M and hour is completely wrong! I would bet you have not tested drop party yourself. I just transfered before about 28-30 rune plates, and it took about 1.5-2 hours to finish!

A common sense!

What? You mean wait for all balloons to be gone? (Which is like about 2 mins to be gone) or world hop? (Which you don't know if there are people using the party room or there are junks/items in the chest)

After a lot of time and you haven't finish yet, why would people bother saying they are tired for just a mere 50k?

You mean have your private chat off or on friends.

Have you ever consider users who would lag if they multi log in?

Where is the proof?

Show us a video proof then. Words alone can not be believe.



I don't see any point in reposting party room guides like this. None useful (for me there is nothing new in this guide)

 

This is not a good guide When I quit rs I tried to use the part room method to donate to freinds.. and constatly we would find a empty room then as the ballons fell you see numerous "noobs" flood in. People just basicaaly make cash at party room looking for rwt'ers

 

1. some people are faster than others
2. noobs are willing to do anything for 50k
3. the pchat part is in the never section
4. its not multi-logging, its having 2 pages open for quick switching
5. try the experiment yourself if you dont believe me

 

maybe cuz you suck at it, look at my pure, 20+ mil on it all from using this method of drop trading, just because you dont do it right, doesnt mean it sucks

 

Some users have low vid cards like me. If you open 2 pages even if you don't log in the same time, I would still lag.

As for trying the experiment, I just mention I have transfered about 28-30 rune plates. Ask mercatres if you don't believe me. And it took 1.5 hours - 2 hours to finish.

As for saying upto 1mil per hour is wrong. I dare you to create a 1 hour vid of drop party transferring. Also show me that you can get 2 different items in one balloon.
