    Details of this were discussed by @Rael to me on Discord. Sorry for your loss.

    Seems like it was an impostor, @Awlieee's UID is mentioned on their profile, I put it there when the impostor tried this same scam before:

    [Impostor scammer] Transaction rejected by our node known double spender/impostor scammer.

    1.) Always request a sythe PM
    2.) Always wait for 1 confirmation with bitcoin transactions
    3.) Check fees of the transaction, if they're very low that usually means it won't confirm
    4.) Check UID of the person you're trading, make sure it matches the UID listed on their threads, profile, signature and that it isn't linked to another scammer
