Cleaning Your Keyboard

Quick question. How does hair get into your keys??

lol wtf just get the spray thingy and then u can use that to get high wewt!!

 

Hairs get there because of pets/hairs sticking on your hand and dropping between the keys, etc. but yea, his keyboard is really dirty xD

good guide though, I'd say around 8.5/10

PS: A good old shaking of the keyboard usually gets all the dirt out too

 

Wonderful guide. My keyboard does look horrible right now on the unseen parts. It is amazing how much hair, dust, and food gets down between those keys. The hardest part to clean has to be the part within the square where the sensor is located. Anyway, good guide, cheers mate.

Can you go into detail on replacing the keys once removed?

 

I just poor some water and use a washcloth.

 

can people under 18 buy compressed air? if so where?

 

I used to do that on my wireless keyboard and it broke

Goner try this soon got some dust at the bottom of most of my keys.

 

I put mine in the dishwasher and seeing how it is a 200$ keyboard i was a little scared at first but it all came out nice and clean and no damage!

good guide. i couldn't put a key back on after i took it off though.

 

I just did this last night and it took me like an hour to clean just the main sectino of my keyboard. Soon I will finish it, but this helped me a lot. I took out all of the keys, laid them in the exact order on a towel, individually cleaned the keys, cleaned out the body of the keyboard, etc.

All went well though because I had half decent knowledge of how to do it from this guide. So thanks!
