I'm buying a 360.

I'd prefer Xbox 360 pro.

 

Just don't get the arcade..it may be cheaper, but you will regret it later on.

 

It does not lag to be honest, I played 8 hours straight and my connection was perfect and never disconnected me. I also would pick Ps3 over Xbox360 is that because Xbox 360 can burn out easily wasting you 2-3 bills. Its just my opinion, also has metal gear solid 4 for ps3 only

 

not really, the elite is not that easy to overheat and if so just put it on a desk away from a wall and inclosed spaces plus the 360 has Halo 3 so haha

 

Xbox 360 Elite is 450$ dollars (USD) and comes with 1 month of Xbox live Gold, a wireless black controller and a headset, then I think you should be fine, just get like a year of Xbox live subscription when the 1 month runs out.
If theres anything else you need then I suggest you get it, I think theres a keyboard or something but I don't own a Xbox 360 Elite YET although I have done some research on it, heres a link that can help you out.

If your wanting to play Halo 3 then of course Xbox 360...

Get the Xbox with the hard drive because Halo 3 is going to need it.

Also if you use wireless internet and your Xbox isn't going to be near your router/modem , don't even buy the wireless adapter.... You can use your computers wireless internet to get on XBL. So that saves you 100 bucks.

Yep halo 3 is big on the 360 I would lie if I said its the best xbl game. Its in the top 5, try and buy your console at a wholeseller you could save yourself alot of money I saw a "Xbox 360 elite" for £200 which is a £50 bargin.

if you get tired of your xbox's memory just buy a new hardrive and have a local game store transfer the info

LOL as simple as that maybe draggin pure doesnt go on xbl.. the recover GT system takes ages tho its anoying.

 

Meh, I wouldn't even bother getting CoD4.. CoD5 is coming out in a couple of months and beta for Socom is coming out in 2 days then the full version in October. But if you don't like Socom I guess you'd be set.
