need help!

ok, So I made a new account, nice tanker name, only has like 8 range and 8 mage, but I'm gonna start training him after I make some money (for runes arrows etc...) but the question is, should I actually make it a tanker and give it 40 def or stick wit mage/range only? hoping to use this after the updates

Make it a tanker. When you get very high range/str it will own. I have a 40-80-40 with 43 pray in f2p. and trust me, NO1, messes with me.

 

Get prayer instead. The protection prayers will help you and you get like half as many combat levels.

 

Combat levels going up is bad, but I would like prayer so i'll get that, and It's decided I'll get 40 defence, and everyone the new question is, what stat should I get for money making?

Mining

mining. Mining pure essence is the best money at such a low level in the game imo.

Ugh don't make it a tanker. Only make it a tanker if you plan on getting 80+ def and 80+ ranged as a member. If your f2p stick with the range/2h combo but train mage while raising hp. HP will be very important in new pvp as you will no longer rush opponents but will have to fight for longer periods of time.

BTW money wise Making Tabs isn't a bad idea. Any teletabs are good money and pretty great mage xp. To start buy a ring of dueling, 200 soft clay, and 200 air runes. Have a air staff equiped and head to castle wars then Yanille. Hop to world 31 and ask politely in front of the portal for a house with a lecturn. Make tabs. Bank closeby and repeat. Sell at GE.
