How to Change People's Away Messages in AIM

Hey Sythe! Armadyl writing my 5th guide on how to change people's away messages in AIM. AIM is a chatting client like MSN. The way you do this is trick them into clicking on a hyperlink.

NOTE: You will need AIM installed to do this trick. Download here: http://download.newaol.com/aim/win95/Install_AIM.exe

Step 1: Pick a victim that you're going to prank. Open a chat window with them, and click on the hyperlink button.


Step 2: Type the following as the Hyperlink URL:

aim:goaway?message=your text here

Step 3: Put a random link in as the Descriptive Text. If you are going to make it look like a video use the following:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?randomlettersnumbers

Step 4: Click OK and send it to them. You may need to do a bit of convincing to click on it. (Don't say 'Click it!' as they might realize it's a prank)

Step 5: Just watch and laugh. You can tell they clicked on it when they go away with the message you typed in. You can make it say anything, like I'm sleeping to I'm gay!

I just have 6 added. I did some bad things (batch files are fun!) on my old AIM and made a new one. I only added a few n00bs from my school
