It is just a cycle that the earth goes through, there was global cooling in the 70's.

 

The ignorance of many people posting is shocking. The global warming over the past century isn't part of a cycle the Earth goes through, it's caused by human greenhouse gas emissions.

 

There was global cooling from the 40's to the 70's because that was when sulphur (not a very effective greenhouse gas) emissions were allowed.

 

Indeed, sulphate aerosols caused global dimming over that period. Also, as is apparent from the graph above, the overall trend of the past 150 years has been the same - temperature has increased.

I think it's real. There's been so many unexpected natural disasters as well as climate changes occuring in the world lately. I think global warming has something to do with it.

 

Nah its not real, its earths natural process, every so and so years our earth swithces polls ex n becomes s and vice-versa, when this happens the magnetic shield earths core produces weakens, meaning the sun's gases will break thru to the earth, basically, we're gonna die due to mass radiation from the sun's gases.

A volcano eruption does more damage to the environment than we can do in 100 years.

 

well personally i believe there using this to draw our attraction from the raising fuel prices hence trying to make us buy more greener cars etc

 

We cant stop it...so what if we increase the speed of global warming by like 40%, not like we will find a way to survive. Besides, worlds going to end in 2012 anyways...so who cares?

 

That's got nothing to do with global warming, and the current warming it isn't a natural process. Reversal of magnetic polarity of the Earth isn't going to happen for a long time, and there have been no mass extinctions because of it in ancient times.

i believe in global warming 100%, and i could write forever on how we can change it and how its affecting our lifes, but all im gonna say is

"HEMP is the key"

Who can simply explain the two heat waves that broke into india and europe, killing 10 000 people?
Just a fact it got to like 157 degrees.
If we keep up what were doing were all going to die and the world will then be 157 degrees all over.

 

Of course Global Warming is a reality. Just look at the polar caps, their ice is melting, or do my eyes deceive me?

 

i heard on the news the other week thats its apart of the world cycle!
back aroudn the viking time
suddenly it got hotter i nthe cooler areas of the world and the vikings in particular couldnt adapt and alot of them died
and then it went back to normal again

i beleive it is natures way of gettign rid of the amount of peopel tat are alive on the earth

 

Reality for sure.

Here in Michigan, we would ALWAYS get snow and lots of it. Since the past 2 years we would hardly get any snow.
