Do you Fear Death?

How can you say this?
Do you honestly feel like you know everything?
Some people have common sense and actually do accept the fact that everyone has to die sometime.
Majority of people don't exactly fear death they just fear what is going to happen to them after they are gone.

 

i don't fear death as in the way I'm going to die, we all die it's natural why waist your only 1 life fearing that it will end, I believe their is more but as we all can agree we just don't know what 'more' is.

 

No. This is all a bad dream and I want to wake up..

 

I fear it because I have always thought that you just sit there looking at blackness for eternity. Not being able to speak, you try but nothing. Your soul stays inside your body and moves nowhere. You just sit there, blackness, nothing. What a horrible ending.

I have also wondered if you come back as whatever you want. (A lot of people think this).

I have also wondered if when you die, you go into someone else's life at any point not knowing a thing. You will be EXACTLY the same. Odd.

 

I don't fear death because I have too much other stuff to do

 

i don't really fear death, but i fear if i go to heaven or hell...

 

I don't fear death because, I hope by the time I'm old enough, someone has made a pill to live longer.

And the devil is my friend.

 

im not particially scared of death im just worried what happens when you do die...

I do fear it a little. You can think it's years away and relax but you never know. You see people being reported on the news about being stabbed (etc) and there families saying stuff like "I always thought he'd live so much longer and have a full life".

The other thing which puzzles me is the question of Heaven or Hell. Are they true? Or is there something completely different that will happen when you die. Maybe your turn into the ghost - You get the point. So yeah, I'm pretty worried but not like paranoid or anything.

 

I have been in a near death experience. Someone jumped onto my neck from the swings.. Broken neck. :O

 

Don't laugh, but i don't fear like dieing, but i fear like hurting people you know, like my mom, my siblings my family etc. I could hurt them really bad and I wouldn't want to do that

I fear missing the people I love more than dieing itself. If I think about it right now, I don't fear dieing. But if I think about all the people I won't have anymore after I die, I go crazy.

Except you won't be you anymore, you will be them. And as them you will wonder the same question. Wait, so that makes you exactly the same, but if you try and make a connection... bleh forget it.

Edit: After posting this, I kept thinking about it. I realized how much I value my loved ones and how much it would hurt to die and lose them. I am terrified of death now.

 

I dont fear what happens after death, but the thought of dieing makes me wonder of all that could/might happen

 

even if you try and say no I think the answer for everyone is yes, I can't imagine any human being not scared to die and lose attachment to all else on earth especially loved ones

 

then why do people commit suicide?

 

I'm so afraid of dying, anytime I think about it I feel so wierd with a wierd rush and I think about (if anyone has seen the movie awake, it's the similar feeling) me being trapped in my body being awake screaming and going crazy but my body just won't move. It really creeps me out. I don't want to die, I'v seen a dead body before and it just is scary how they can't move and lose all insight, It's just something I will never want to go through no matter how badmy life may end up.

 

dying by drowning/burning would by far the be worst.
