Woah...

Ok so for about the last two weeks I've been hearing this scratching noise in my ceiling. At first I thought it was a rat or a mouse and just let it be for some reason lol.

But it just kept going on and on so I told my dad, well he just punched the ceiling and the noise stopped. So I went on with my life.

Well, the other day my internet was down so my brother and I came down to see what was wrong with it and we notice that there was a little lump sticking out of the ceiling so my brother pokes it...and right when he pokes it about 20 bees..(yes like yellow jacket bees) fell onto his arm so we ran up the steps and shut the door.

Then we went to the window cell and looked through the window...there was like 500 bees flying around. I didn't get many pictures that show how many there were but I got some.



There's just a couple on the window cell...



There you can see the larva and some dead bees by the gas we used to kill it...and there is some foam that we used to cover the hole along with the tape.



The tape we used...I couldn't get a picture of the hole but I would say it's the size of tennis ball maybe.

wow.... when i read the first bit thought it was gonna be a raccoon but was a hive lol. u should have left them there and whenever u have toast try and get some honey from them

lol my dad suggested to my mom that we should make something that involes honey because we have a life time supply of it lol

Wow, honestly i LOVE bees so i think that would've been so facinating to see. Incredibly interesting, i was watching a show about 2 days ago about how bees are creating hives in peoples houses. Are you going to get some proffesional to get rid of all the bees?

 

lol yeah that would be horrible if they were spiders...hate them much lol

well we had an exterminator come to our house already and and spray some powder stuff in the hole..and the stuff isnt supposed to work right away its supposed to stick to the bees and when the go back to the hive it gets on all the other bees and then it kills all of them but now we are probably going to have to fixe the hole ceiling now

 

So when you go up there in however long, your going to see like a billion dead bees lol? Take pictures of the old ceiling with all the wax and stuff on it when it gets fixed please . It'd be awesome to see, does your insurance cover this damage though?

 

ill try to take pics and i forgot to mention it wasnt so interesting when about 500 pissed off bees are coming after you lol...but i dont knwo if inusrance will cover it ill ask my dad tomarrow

 

hmm Where did The bees come from, That's sick.

 

well there is this corner at the side of my house and apparently they chewed threw my siding and got into the wood...i wonder how long they have been working at it...but yeah it is sick
