Pure or main

I have a level 74 pure with 60 attack, 84 strength, 93 range, 99 mage. Been thinking of getting its defence up.. i kind of want to do main things. I dont have an actual main account. In working on a lower level g maul account now, so should i get defence up on my 74 or keep going until maxed pure?

 

I mean I guess it really just depends what you want to do in the game. If you just want to PK, then most definitely stay pure or maybe go med level.. But if you want to do a little bit of everything, just go med level or maxed main pking and enjoy the game for everything it has to offer.

 

I would recommend getting skills up & quests up while you're one defence.
Perhaps get 150 Quest Points, get 1500+ total, and then start getting main things done.

 

I would personally just start a main, because those stats are pretty good for a pure and you might regret it, if you like to do pure pking or whatever.

 

You could always try raising it in tiers, just in case you find a happy median where you like being.

If you did decide to go ahead, I'd definitely start by doing beneficial quests that were previously off limits that give Def XP - so that if you DO want to stop training Def at a certain point, you've got those quest rewards already.

 

If you don't have a main account and are actually having fun with your account.. just make it your main and then use your gmaul account as your pking only account

 

Do whatever you want to play man, dont ask others

 

I would always opt for a main because I enjoy PVM and generally want to play the game and be able to do everything which isn't always neccessarily the case with a pure build. Pures are obviously great for PVP though.

 

I would make a new account for a main. You could always just sell your pure on Sythe if you're bored of it.

 

I would definitely make a new account for a main your on the verge of having a maxed pure if you put effort into it, just get a main up and coming easy smash out like 80/80/80 in a few days if you afk whilst training your pure

 

That's entirely up to you, if you really want to play on a main just make the account a main account. You can always make a pure down the line if you want to go back to being a pure.
