    Do you Fear Death?

For all you hardcore people saying you don't fear death, that's because your not in any situation where death is a high possibility.

To truly not fear death, you would be calm knowing u will die tomorrow.

No one fears death when there young and think it will be some 50,60 years away. If you where in a position where your odds of death are high, You would naturally fear of death. No one just excepts it and think, meh i gota go sometime.

Id say i fear death, not every waking second, not right now, but if i was in a situation where i have to fight for my life, i would be scared. Scared of being cut short from fully experiencing life, to do all the things i want, to meet Mrs right. To be robbed of that is scary. For those who disagree then your quality of life is poor.

    Do you Fear Death?

I used to fear about death, not much anymore.

What i fear more is going into a old folks nursing home.

I hate going there to visit my grandma so id rather die then go to one of those.

It's inevitable. I'm not looking foreward to it but I might as well not be afraid of something that I know will happen.

    Do you Fear Death?

I agree with about 50% of what you said. I think the biggest factor isn't likelihood, it's family. Surely if you were to die tomorrow, leaving your family with nothing, you'd feel vulnerable, but, if you're like me, still in school, no family to take care of. You'd feel less scared of dying. That's what I truly think.

I still fear the way of dying as opposed to when I die.

As a biological being, I cannot help but fear death when it raises its ugly head in the form of life-threatening bodily damage (obviously, this would be a key evolutionary advantage, given that those who would not fear death would fight to stay alive just that bit less). However, in terms of whether I am afraid of being dead, I can honestly say that I am not. It will be the same state of non-existence which existed for me for eons before my birth.

    Do you Fear Death?

Living is exciting, and death is peaceful; it is only the transition between the two that I fear.

Dying itself would be a frightful experience. Of course there is no easy way to die(besides drug overdose). But i have to say that i am curious to see what is after mortality.

Everybody dies, so why be afraid? You can't stop it, there is no point in wasting your time worrying.
I certainly don't want to die though, lol.

    Do you Fear Death?

It's not that I fear death or don't fear death its just that I don't care if I die. So far I've had 17 semi shitty years here it can't get that much worse...(I am a christian so I know I will be in heaven but...) Now if I cared I wouldn't be worried about where I'm going when I die but more just how I'm going to die but as I have thought more and more about it I don't care how much it hurts because like everything else that has happened to me I will forget about it, its like I remember breaking my collar bone when I was like 10 and I know it hurt like hell but even the next week I couldn't remember the pain I just knew that it hurt and thats all. Now you may ask why don't I care about death, because death is natural and because what difference will it make when one of the like 6.6billion people on the earth dies? Think about the Billions of other people, maybe even trillions, who have already died. If its really that bad when I die then I deserve the pain for being ignorant but oh well I'll have to deal with it if it comes...

    Do you Fear Death?

most people who claim not to fear death without having actually been in deaths way don't really know what they are talking about.

I've essentially had what could be considered a neath death experience, and have put myself in danger a number of times with death being a real possibility... The first couple brushes with death were absolutely terrifying, but I'm more familiar with it now and know there is nothing to fear, so I've been able to approach such situations a lot more comfortably now.

When you actually get in a position where your survival is seriously threatened, most people automatically revert to their most basic survival driven instincts, which take complete control of them. This can range from paralyzing fear to instinctive action, depending on how that person was conditioned... All of this results from the anxiety and fear of death, and it takes a very strong will to be able to break this instinctive habit....

    Do you Fear Death?

Because nobody knows what happens after one dies. Most people are afraid on the unknown.

    Do you Fear Death?

Yeah, and no...I am scared of whats going to happen...but I am also somewhat excited, because I am pretty sure I will go to "heaven" (if there is one) if God is considerate, and if there even is a God, because I live a pretty good life, I don't lie, steal, or hardly eve use profane language. So yeah, I'll be happy if there is a heaven and ill be nothing if there is nothing.

    Voted no btw.

Funny things happen to you between you and your God when you are in a hole being shot at. I have made peace with the world already and I am content with what may happen to me.

Well, yes, I think it's natural human nature to fear death, but I know it will be alright... Nonetheless, still scary to think about >_>

    Do you Fear Death?

I fear it for other people more then myself. Cause I believe that you basically cease to exist after death. And it makes me sad knowing that when my brothers, mom, dad, grandma, grandpa....and many other's will be gone forever once there dead and NEVER EVER seeing them again.
