Hey my names zoe, i have a minor problem. I have 50K cash that i want to invest into something but im not sure what. Ideas?
50k RSGP or 50K irl? because if it's rsgp, then theres no point in investing anything, but if it's IRL, you shouldn't be browsing Scythe, but probably stocks? IDK.
Always hedge against risk and that means you buy in different sectors. Such as cryptocurrencies, stocks, government bonds. Maybe some sort of savings accounts as well at banks.
When I say invest in yourself I mean things like buying books. First book I recommend is Rich Dad Poor Dad. Spend the money on empowering your self knowledge and eventually you'll have all the answers on how to spend that money.
Tbh, weed stock is risky but good. If you manage to buy it when it crashes then resell it when it rises you could look to make a 50% profit. Popular Stocks include CRON, CGC Etc just do your own research.
Do your own research in this. I would with that cash invest in Btc ( bitcoin ) oil, gold, stocks, government bonds. Make up your own portfolio. Ask yourself some questions: do i want to invest short long term, do i want to invest with a lot of risk or not that much risk?
People will say diversify, but I believe that is just security from incompetence. Find 2-3 stocks you believe will hold value in the long term, and invest. This means they are profitable, and that profit is protected from competition or the government (anti-competition/new laws). Read through the big investment funds portfolios and do your own research on the companies. Oh and read. I'd say read about investing for at least a year/few years before you try this yourself.
What country are you from ? You could put that towards a personal mortgage or rental mortgage. The risk is high with a bad tenant, but with property; the money is pretty much secure unless a housing crash happens. Other than that, put small amounts of money in high risk investments. I would secure a large amount of your cash in something STABLE. I put £200 in high risk market investments 4 years ago, this is now worth £2370. Hope this helps, Luke
Real estate notoriously provides lower gains than the stock market though? What were your high risk investments?
I invested in a BRICS/EM fund which invested in businesses in emerging markets and BRICS trade group. Brazil - Russia - India - China - South Africa i think ? Emerging markets are the way forward; it is best to get ahead of the curve. But can be very risky and lose any capital very rapidly; especially now with US Trade WAR.
