How do I open .RAR files with Photoshop?

Hey guys, I just downloaded a cool text for photoshop cs3, but when I tried opening it with photoshop, it said it was the wrong kind of document. When I downloaded the file, it's extension was .RAR. I tried using the WinRAR program, and tried opening it from there, but no budge.

If I just open the text file itself in WinRAR, it shows me how the text looks like from sizes 1-72. I would greatly appreciate the help! ^_^

 

put it in your Windows>Fonts folder, after you've extracted it.

 

Call me idiotic or whatever, but I do not know what you mean. I've extracted the .rar file, but where is my Windows>Fonts folder? Also, how is moving the file to a different folder going to let me use the font?

Edit: maybe this will help more. The type of the file is TrueType Font File.

 

Right click Rar folder and click ''Extract Here'', when it's extracted, go toyour C-drive, click WINDOWS, then look for the Fonts folder, then copy & paste the file into the folder called ''Fonts'', then it should automatically install.

Then reopen Photoshop, and you should be able to select it from the drop-down menu.

 

Your going to need winRAR to extract the font. (you can get it for free here: http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10007677.html) Once you've installed it, right click on the .rar file and go to extract here. Next, copy the font and paste it in your font directory (C:\WINDOWS\Fonts).

Now just open Photoshop and your font should be installed

 

Click the extract button, then choose the folder you wish to put it in (it should take less than a second to extract)

Then copy it and paste it to the font folder in the Windows folder if you havnt already extracted it to there.

I've known about some good softwares which are able to solve out such troubles. But best of them it the next in my view, first it was rescued me some weeks ago and it proved its capabilities - repair archive winrar.
