    Good?

    Is this good?

I’ve noticed pc performance is great; and speeds of games are good.

I currently have a Radeon R2GB, and playing runelight Hd full screen I get 30-40 FPS

    This should help??

Runescape and games like it run heavy on the CPU, especially single core, so high clock speeds > more cores. GPU doesn't matter that much, so if you bought it for runelite, way overpowered.

    You saw my build.

I don’t want to start over. I’m happy with the performance for the most part. Can you upgrade just the processor? As you mentioned mine was a bit outdated.

Technically you could upgrade although I'm not in the AMD side of the market, so I don't know them too well.
Even though it maybe can be upgraded, you shouldn't just upgrade the CPU. Power supplies only last a couple years and usually can't handle new components or are just not strong enough, your RAM is ddr3, i.e. not transferable to a newer motherboard.

If I were you I'd either upgrade the GPU and just run with it, and return it if it doesn't bring the increase you need. If that turns out to be the case, I'd save up for a new pc.

    @Cas

    Here’s what I ordered

    Upgrade

Also, if I get a new CPU can I upgrade that? Will it affect anything else?

I checked to see if my current motherboard etc is compatible and it is. I bought an expensive power supply and cooler a year ago so should be good.

What will happen with my current files on the HD? How do I move to the SSD?

    Thanks

I understand AMD isn’t ideal but it’s good for budged.

It’s amazon, I can return it lol. The 580 is a little more for a lot?

AMD isn't ideal. Ryzen is great.
Leave the files on the HDD, install windows on the SSD and you're good to go.

I'm not even sure where to begin for the rest of this so I'm just gonna say good luck on your pc, hope it works for you.

I don’t know if Ryzen is compatible with that MOBO? What’s a good ryzen chip and what’s the best ryzen chip?

The MOBO you have running an AM3+ socket won't take a ryzen processor.
Don't worry you don't have to start your build over entirely and switch MOBO's.
The processor you picked up should run your runescape just fine at 60 FPS with the GPU you purchased, not that RS runs a GPU.

And yes the answer to you RX 570 vs RX 580, they were made at the same time and honestly I don't understand why the RX 570 was even made, it is nowhere near what the RX 580 can put out for really not much more money at all.
I have the Sapphire RX 580 8GB pulse version in my PC with an i5 8600k Water cooled and overclocked to 4.2 & I can run every single game on 100+ FPS.

Amazon.com: Buying Choices: XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition 1386MHz OC+, 8GB GDDR5, VR Ready, Dual BIOS, 3xDP HDMI DVI, AMD Graphics Card (RX-580P8DFD6)
There is a new one being sold for 200$ USD

This one is $219 but it will run a little smoother even. https://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-1...ds=rx+580&qid=1551191380&s=electronics&sr=1-4

^^ This is actually on sale right now for like 30$ off, not much but I would hop on it and buy it.

So in actuality your going to notice about a +15% difference - [IMG]

Also the reason the above user suggested Ryzen is because the processor your currently buying is really outdated, from 2012 era.
However this doesn't mean it won't run runescape, however if you plan to play apex legends / fortnite with this computer you may want to re consider.

I use it for RuneScape and rocket league. Both run fine. RuneScape as of late on high graphics settings full screen give low FPS so I want to fix that because it’s annoying. It’s likely my graphics card. I thought while I was digging around in there I should upgrade from my fx 6300 cpu

Is the ryzen 8350 compatible with am3+ (IT"S NOT JUST LOOKED)

KEep in mind I am upgrading from 6300 and going to 8350 is a 30% increase. And, i am already happy with where I am at. I was on a budget build, and built my computer 4 years ago.

    @Cas

I installed my graphics card and no longer lag on full screen 07 with max graphics.

This is incredible for other games i play too like fortnite and rocket league.

Now, today, the new CPU is here ( which as stated above is still a nice upgrade from where I was) and the SSD we talked about.

Is this a good guide on how to move windows 7? Specifically solution 2

How to Install Windows 7 on SSD

You can use that tool to 'clone' a drive, but not an installation. Like I said, install windows 10 fresh on it, leave the HDD for extra storage.

Install Windows from a USB Flash Drive

Stop using windows 7. It's old, and nearing EOL updates.
Install windows 10 on it like it's a new computer on the SSD and use the old hdd as storage.

I use windows 7 because it's basic and not demanding. Windows 10 is buggy af. When I built the computer anyways.

So, are you saying unplug the HDD, and then plug in the SDD. Do a fresh install, and then plug in the HDD?

windows 10 isn't buggy at all, you should be fine with it, and im sure the demanding doesnt matter from your specs, it only lags if you have a 1ghz celeron. Don't sleep on windows 10, windows 7 is not meant for 2019, it's meant for 2011.

There are ways to clone an hdd to a sdd, or an hdd to another hdd, just find a program to do it though make sure it'd credible.

Ex, samsung pro ssd'd have the samsung software to clone an hdd to a sdd
