    Java Error

I have a slight java problem when I try to run my version of the 503 client, and I heard it's really good, so naturally I want to use it. can anybody tell me what's wrong?

    Code:
"Exception in thread 'main' java.lang.NoclassDefFoundError: EGUI

    Cuased By: Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: EGUI

    at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run<Unknown Source>

    at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged<Native Method>

    at java.net.URLClassLoader.FindClass<Unknown Source>

    at java.net.ClassLoader.Loadclass.<Unknown Source>

    at sun.misc.Luancher$AppClassLoader.loadclass.<Unknown Source>

    at java.lang.ClassLoader.LoadClass<Unknown Source>

    at java.lang.ClassLoader.LoadClassInternal<Unknown Source>
I was wondering if CP could answer this, becuase he's helpful and I like him =)

Also...what does the "503" mean? Just the gameframe edition or the cache? Thanks,

    Chase Young.

503 is the cache. Also could it be that you don't have the right path in your run.bat? Could you show us it?

Here is my broken 503 client

I do not claim to have wrote/programmed ANY of the scripts in the 503. Thank you.

If somehow you get it working, tell me please =)

Ok I think I see what your problem is. You most likely renamed the file so it didn't have the right path. Make sure the folder with all the files in it is named "Client". If it still doesn't work I'll look into it some more.

I haven't renanmed any files or altered any scripts, everything in that download link is exactly as I downloaded it, and when I downloaded it and tried to use it, that error comes up.

Edit- Oh shit! that was my client error for Galkons client...sorry...Here's the one for the 503

    Code:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: client
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: client
            at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:200)
            at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
            at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:188)
            at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306)
            at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:276)
            at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:251)
            at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319)
Press any key to continue . . .

Ugh, recompile the files, and if that doesn't work, change your run.bat because it's looking for the wrong path.

Read the above comment; everything, yes that's right, even the classpath, is as it should be.

Did you try running the server before the client? You have to do that on the 503's not sure why.

When I downloaded the 503 server it has all the .txt, Java and CLASS files but there was no runserver or compiler like in a regular base source, and it's all it a bunch of files like the person who made it tried to hide it from me.

I've run into this before also. Does it appear when you select a world on RuneScape and it begins to load?

If YES, then you have probably been to Add/Remove Programs lately, and found an old version of Java and delted it. That is what I did, BIG MISTAKE. I suggest, if its not killing your computer speed, to just keep all java you have on there and don't touch it. Its not hurting anything, because if you accidentally delete the wrong one, you may spend hours trying to find it again.

Hope this helped, PM me if it doesnt work.
