Sythe.org email

Of course I would. I was just about to post a suggestion about this. Like [email protected].

 

I'm all for it as long as it's only [email protected], and you don't have a choice in the matter.

 

i say, NO it would create soo mny problems..

for scammers.

 

That's why it should be [email protected] , if someone creates a name similar to someone else they would get banned, (which they would already).

 

I think it's a good idea but,in order to make those emails you got to be special or trusted here on sythe,or at least people who has 1000+ posts;either a special/volunteered Mod creates the email due to their request(must meet requirements)or there's an automatic feature that allows you to create one once you have 1000 posts(1 PER sythe account).

 

Yeah maybe it should be an incentive or something you earn.

 

Well I Support it 100%. If you Don't get scammed then just go on their profile and look at the real MSN with the Imposter if SO there is an imposter. But i Support @sythe.org

I think it could be a good idea, except to start off, there would be a lot of chaos at the beginning because there are people who already have made Windows Live IDs like [email protected] even though they can't verify it, it will still take a day or two for the real person to claim it back.

At first it would be a scamming fest as we wouldn't know who was who, but if you could somehow avoid that first confusion, it would work out quite nicely.

BUT,

the one problem I do see and don't seem to know of a way to get past it is what if people don't use the @sythe.org e-mails, and keep their current one. Personally I would keep my current one over getting a new one, now I might be smart enough to still get the account made and then recover the Windows Live ID, except most people won't, which makes me to believe this idea will never work as scamming will increase ten fold.

 

What if it's limited to donators, etc?

I think the @sythe.org would be a pretty kewl thing, or you could actually like, make a WHOLE new email system, like a webmail and so then everyone could have a @sythe.org or something like that xD

 

Yes that is true. What about having like invitations for it like MSN did a while back.

 

Like the guy said above.. make a whole new email system..

when you get a webmail.. you can go to www.mail.sythe.org

While everyone is complaining it will result it more scammers, how about a separate domain for administrators/moderators e.t.c.

Make it for trusted people.

 

No cause they could have it setup where they sell the email for 1m or w/e, or they can have it were only and admin can setup an account. and yeah it wouldn't cause you could find a way to make it impossible to make more then one or something.

 

yea sure.. would be great... but not available for all users...
educators and mm's... maybe high amount donators.
