How to Crack a Combo Lock

To clear the air on this topic, I have personally went looking for guides with this same method around the internet (be it video or written). YES, there are guides with the same method, but NO, this guide is NOT ripped. You are more than allowed to post on topics that have either been posted before or you've seen in other places as long as YOU write the guide yourself, from scratch. Therfore, this is without a doubt, NOT ripped.

As for the guide, I quite enjoyed it. I think what you could do is post a few more pictures for the last step where you push the pick down and pull the lock up, I seem to be having some trouble accomplishing that lol.

Whether or not he came up with the idea doesn't mean he can't write a guide on it. I'd like to see you find one guide on this forum that hasn't been posted or thought of before. Don't judge his guide based on the topic or if he originally had the idea, it needs to be based on content and how it is presented.

Despite this being considered spam, yes I do. All UE team members get to vote on applications. They review every guide and then vote in a poll. Then typically they will post a reason as to why they voted the way they did. Eventually, you will either get accepted or denied, depending on the vote went.

Also, UE team members aren't allowed to disclose information regarding the poll. It is a private matter, that you can see if and when you get into the UE team.

For the sake of the rules, you should really get back on topic regarding the guide. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your guides (for the most part).

 

Ok thank you for the heads up tho. I wish people would rate the guide's quality, and not the topic. They hate the guide automatically because there are things similar on youtube...

It isn't "ripped" as he took his own pictures. However there are several similar guides around... and this is an older technique that doesnt work for all combo locks nowadays...

 

I dont have a combo lock to crack but i assume this works from the other peoples posts.

 

Yes you can also view the video compiled by my brother's friend (inspired this guide) on youtube. Just look up StyxxxRoxxx and its the only vid on there

Okay guide. The pictures are okay. I usually use locks that need keys.

I have already posted it on youtube (channel StyxxxRoxxx)

and it does take about 10 minutes to make your first good shiv. and after that it'll take about 10-20 more to master the unlocking. Provided that your first few shivs dont break like all mine did.
