Barrelchest Anchor - Upon death while pking in Edgeville, how much does it cost to repair it?

If you got to Smith on Mos Le'Harmless it will cost ~230,000gp I think.

 

Every time I die I will have to pay 230k to repair it?

I was going to get the anchor until I found that out and I find it's not really worth all of the work involved to get one when it costs
so much to repair it.

 

I'm curious as to why you'd want to use anchor anyway. Any account that can use it undoubtedly has better options available.

 

Best in slot for 60 attack builds

 

Functionality-wise would people not prefer GMaul or DDS+GMaul combo, though?

 

Barrelchest is a ko weapon, used after say a double gmaul spec or simply just stacking damage.

That is so wack. What is up with that price Jagex!?

 

230k, which is a lot however its a strong weapon so therefore it makes sense, you will lose it over 20-30 wilderness i think.

 

It's whack, but it is a lot better than running back and smithing a new one.

Jagex likes to make money leave the economy.

 

I havent done the quest for anchor since its a lot of work on my pure with 52 prayer, i usually use maul or d2h if i bring a high-hitting weapon. anchor is just stupidly expensive imo and you will almost barely use it

 

Was just looking at the reqs for anchor... Totally wack for the price you lose when dying
