If there's something that can be upgraded what should it be? Or, should I just make a new PC 1. AMD fx6300 2. Hyper Cooler 3. MSI 970 Gaming 4. 16GB Kingston Ram 5. 1TB Western Digital 6. Saphire Radeon R9 dual graphics card 2GB 7. others stuff not so important. Currently, my pc operates fine and and at an optimal speed. I am worried 1-2 more years it will be outdated.
SSD SSD SSD SSD Did I say SSD? Get one if you don't already have one, and install windows and your apps on it. Nobody in 2019 should be using a HDD for the OS.
Why? Other than the start up speed timing what is the real benefit. My computer boots in 21 seconds. I'm sure it can be faster, but if that's the only benefit I don't care. @Cas Edit: Must've not done enough research. I see now it does a lot. The files you recommended moving to it. How do I do that once I install it?
An SSD is the sole best thing you can do to your pc. 21 seconds is awful. You can’t move stuff to a new drive like that, take your old drive out, install windows on the SSD and then reconnect the hdd. With a bit of work you can set games etc to boot from your old drive.
I'd argue that the pre-ryzen AMD cpu's are pretty much all garbage, but you seem content with the performance you have, I guess it really depends on what you do and need. If you are content with your performance, why not just upgrade when it becomes an issue?
I’m extremely happy with my computer. I just didn’t know if there’s anything I can do to optimize it.
