    Symphonic Metal

Femme metal, atmospheric symphonic doom metal, anyone dig?

My favorite symphonic metal bands are Nightwish, Epica, Kamelot, and After Forever. Favorite songs are Planet Hell, The Human Stain, Rule the World, and Never Enough.

Yea Rule the World is great. Symphonic metal = heavy metal guitar/drum/bass, classical female singer, sometimes keyboard.

Well you covered basically all of my favorite bands in one post.

Symphonic Metal really is the best kind of music (Just my opinion).

    My favorite songs would be:
The Poet and the Pendulum (Nightwish)
7 Days to the Wolves (Nightwish)
    Amaranth (Nightwish)
    Beautiful Emptiness (After Forever)
    Eccentric (After Forever)
    Solitary Ground (Epica)
    Cry of the Moon (Epica)
    Ghost Opera (Kamelot)

As for a different kind of symphonic metal, listen to Dimmu Borgir or Sonata Arctica.

    Favorites by them would be:

Progenies of the Great Apocalypse (Dimmu Borgir)
    8th Commandment (Sonata Arctica)

I completely agree. It doesn't get much better imo.

Top 3 symphonic metal songs are

The Poet and the Pendulum (Nightwish, 14 mins of epicness)
7 Days to the Wolves (Nightwish)
Progenies of the Great Apocalypse (Dimmu Borgir)
