How to kick ass in halo 3

Basics in halo 3 live​

Supplys need= You (unless your stupid you need a 360, halo3, internet, and live)​

Live in halo 3 rocks. So, tons of people are usually lifeless 15 year olds who head shot you every time you even move. Not any more. You will fight back​

The best way to fight is to go head on. Though it might sound dumb it always will get you a good 1-2 kills. When going head on you should probably get an assault rifle or dual weapons like an smg . These weapons are simple but effective agaisnt 1 person. Dont go head on agaisnt 2-3 people with these weapons because this while surly get you killed.​

Since recent flame im adding a sniper part. One of the hardest ways of killing people is the sniper but its also one of the easiest. Before trying to go urban sniper try sniping on the story. It will give a feel and how to control the sniper. Once you fell that you can run and jump while still sending a bullet through a head head over to live.Valhalla is the best map to start out on.

When starting the sniper should be just down stairs. If you dont want to snipe in your base head over to this part of the map since its the best place in my opinion to snipe. If or when you run out of ammo switch to your secondary weapon (preferably a battle rifle) and keep killing.

Meeleing is your best friend. After your gun runs dry run towards the person full on. About 2 feet away from them hit the B button and you will fly towards then and knock then out cold FOR EVA. You can also use meelee when flanking the enemy. Try going through underground areas and sneak up on enemys. This will cost some time but your sure to kill a few enemys.​

If you fell that meeleeing isn't your friend use a vehicle. A ghost is the best one for 1 person. If there is a crowd get into a warthog or mongoose because of its slide. You can mop those suckas all around the map. The down side of vehicles is that people usually tend to blow the living crap out of any one in one with the handy dandy rocket launcher . Avoid running towards them or just standing still like a sitting duck. A vehicle sitting there=1 kill for you. This can also be used to your advantage while using a rocket launcher of your own.​

Sniping can get you ranked up like no tomorrow. Since it takes some skill if you want to snipe but arnt that great at it get a battle rifle . This is a mix between an assault rifle and a sniper. You can go into the battle but stay a distance away from your enemy for using the scope. If they get to close un scope and aim for the head and click your trigger like no tomorrow. Aiming for the body will be the best bet when your enemy is moving around. If you are good at sniping like me you should get a full on sniper . Stay back and look for some easy kills. This time, if they get to close switch weapons. Non like counter strike a sniper is extremely hard to kill up close and you will die 9/10 times if you attempt to kill someone up close with this weapon. ​

Grenades can be extremely helpful. When clearing out a room use the frag. The brute and sticky grenade is only good at staying in one spot and horrible for clearing. If your caught in a situation with no ammo and someone is charging towards you chuck a sticky or brute grenade at them and hopefully it sticks. Aim for the body since its a bigger target but if your felling lucky today try for the head. Its always fun to see someones head explode​

Welcome to the world of the gravity hammer. These giant hammers send your oppenents flying into the sky. These things arnt only used for killing but the can let you get to higher places on foot. For starting off run towards the area you want to get to. About 10 feet away jump into the air and aim at the floor. Hit the right trigger and youll go flying into the air. Its like tf2 except without the loss of health. Wich is good.​

For the final weapons there are the turrets , rocket launchers, Spartan laser , and the ever so handy missile pod . These weapons can be extremely helpfully taking out crouds and vehicles. The only problem is it slows you down. For the turret and missile pod you walk extremely slow and should stay a distance for your target. For the spartan laser it takes a long time to fire so you should probably use it on a vehicle. The rocket launcher takes a while to get to the target so always aim ahead. Like the gravity hammer you can get into the air with the rocket launcher. Do the same thing as with the gravity hammer but if you do it to late you'll get blown to peices. ​

There you have it. Your officer bars should be up and you should lose your " tan, GPA, and relation ship with anyone who doesn't speak to you through a headset" (quote was from xplay).​

This guide is giving the wrong advice in my opinion... You're stating the wrong ways of 'kicking ass' in halo. If you want to kick as you have to be good with BR, Sniper, Rocket, Mauler, Grenade placement. That's how you're going to kick ass... Like me and Merchant. ^_^ 5/10 for a good effort though, pictures could use work.

Worse Halo 3 guide I have ever read. I am a level 50 in H3, and that was pathetic.

Get ride of the AR section and say, "If you use a AR, when you have a BR as a secondary weapon then you suck at Halo."
Add a section about how to use a bansee, some secret spots, and maybe even one about sniping.

I would post more advice, but theres too much wrong.

This is basic Halo stuff. Of course if you want to blow up a vehicle you'll be using a rocket launcher. Of course you will be meleeing the person when they're two feet away from you.

This does not explain how to "kick ass." It just explains the basics of how to play. 1/10.
