During this time of the year, Comm Dev Team would like to take a moment to thank the staff for their hard work to keep the site up and running throughout the year!

I would like to thank the following staff members:

@Gladiator - For going out of his way to ban scammers and doing his best to protect innocent traders, especially in the world of Discord.

@Tyler - For giving me a chance. For having faith. For also killing it as a moderator. Always helpful, always answers any quick issues that arise. A great lad. Thanks dude.

@Zero - for killing it as moderator, spending countless hours pouring through logs and texts of scam reports. Same goes to Gladiator as well.

@Wortel - Someone who I can call a true friend. You do more than anyone on this site in terms of finding, banning, and destroying users who want to scam. You don't tolerate fraud. For not giving up, his fight against scamming thugs. No matter what policies are thrown at your way. You are an absolute legend. Hopefully I see you soon with your yellow brothers and sisters of rank. Thank you, for everything.

@video - Someone who I go to with tough questions, who understands that I don't mean it as a personal insult when I bring up possible logical scenarios, who doesn't take it as an attack but sees it as a question of curiosity. I thank you, for always having an answer to everything. You are, the wise (young) version of Dumbledore. You see all, you know all.

i would like to show my Appreciation to you guys for taking the opportunity at looking into my suggestion and accepting it, I'm very grateful of the outcome and i hope it helps the community

For chilling in discord and being easy to talk to about stuff. It's not even about all of the ban evader stuff he does, (because I don't transact that often). Just a genuinely nice person to talk to.

For being cool ever since I joined this site. He's a homie, except for when we get killed in rust and then it slowly spirals down.

I would like to give a huge thanks to @Wortel ,@Bolt and @Tyler
These guys have helped me, Wortel gave me a few warnings. (I've learned from them.) Bolt gave me a load of helping hands, same goes for Tyler in terms of me working for Hope.
I'm sure all of the mods are helpful. These are the mods that have helped me out in my Sythe journey so far. What will come in the future?

 

I want to thank @Wortel for the dedication to Sythe and being such a friendly face of the community. Without them, the site wouldn't be the same.

I won't be super thorough but I still wanted to take the time to thank all of the staff members individually for all their (hard) work put in.

@Island for being being very careful about what he handles and what he does not handle, aswell as his particular mindset about stuff - he's not a full-blown robot though rather shows emotions and shares thoughts when he's around.

@Killswitch for being the one to blame staff inactivity on. It is partially very depressing to see your inactivity slim down more and more by time and most of the work you do go unnoticed since it's mainly post reports and such, though for what you have done and still proceed to do regardless of what's keeping you inactive I'd like to thank you.

@Panda for being a cuddly panda. Regardless of big changes in his personal life he has stayed quite active and I'm fairly confident in such times most of the staff wouldn't even upkeep the activity level he manages to keep. Thank you for not going completely AWOL.

@Tyler for returning to staff and proceeding to kill it here, despite the reasons that has gotten him out of staff previously. I appreciate your words, but also your support in my personal life, greatly. Thank you.

@Zero for chilling zero seconds. Thank you for keeping up the strong work in RASC and such, so that I don't have to. Wherever I correct you, you learn and adapt. Well done man and keep it up, don't burn out.

@Gladiator for being thorough and actually thinking about stuff, rather than mindblown handling each and every thing. While your minds are rather funky at times (you still think about stuff - it's mostly on autopilot here) I do take great joy about teaching you stuff. You were the first to ever screenshare with me aswell, congrats.

@Hahanerd for being mature. We've had our changes in opinions and such, though it is clear that you're mature about stuff considering you don't keep it against me forever. I am glad to have you part of the team again in terms of activity and hope it remains this way.

@TySimpson for being active when he's around. Haven't seen an insane lot of you yet, but that's probably because it's trending to have mods killing it from day 1 and slowing down after. You started quite slow but when you're around you're doing extremely well. Your typing style annoys the fuck out of me, though it takes great courage to start on handling pardons from an early start. Don't let me steer you away from those just because I managed to find more profiles and such - I have more tools to do so. Though I do like handling pardons mainly solo, but then again Charlotte also wanted to handle them etc etc.

@Jason for being similiar to me in terms of communication. Or atleast I sometimes feel like that way, you're not extremely chatty from all the interactions I've had with you or seen you do, though you have very well formed thoughts etc. Your knowledge comes to great use often. Thanks.

@Pendulum for being the - to what I consider - friendly rival in terms of going for the admin rank. Seeing fellow globals getting promoted left and right around me to admin shows either something about me or about me or both. While I've heard pretty concerning stories about political stuff aswell as about workhorses etc from ex-staff members you keep on being clearheaded and have the ultimate professional response to it at all times ( "Aslong as the job gets done" ) therefore showing the perfect qualifications for the next admin position. Aside of that, I take great joy gaming with you and such.

@Gen for being able to maintain his own community aswell as Sythe. His activity is mainly on the community of his, though whenever you're needed you're there (except for the last big ass book I wrote you). You've done well and have earned the admin position. Keep it up.

@Sun for keeping up her activity level perfectly despite being or having been in the army and such. I'm very thankful for having such a hard working admin in the team. At times you're hard to get a hold of, though based on all admins you're the easiest to reach along with video. Hopefully you can bring us some updates about anything Sythe related quickly, because I'm always interested in new stuff.

@Matthew for being able to get a hold of, even though it takes patience. Atleast eventually down the line you get back to us. Hopefully also in regards to the User Center 7, which I'm expecting to have an ETA of 2035 by now. I really wish you would be more active and push changes quicker to Sythe, but I get that Sythe has had it's glory days and I'll never part of it. Thank you for all the years of dedication and work you've done for the website though.

@Shin for being so vocal when asked for it. You have an opinion of high volume that not alot of people can handle, especially for me it's hard to hear sometimes, but I do believe you're adjusting. I'm looking forward to the day of your return to activity again, though I understand you have more pressing matters to deal with IRL. Thank you for everything so far.

@Sythe for keeping this website up even though the glory days are over. I've been part of many communities and out of my own experience I can tell that eventually people will always claim a "website is dying" and such just because old members are leaving and they don't have any interaction with the newer members. Thank you for keeping the website up atleast, I get that sometimes we might be a liability (based on previous posts from you I've seen elsewhere) as your interests lies in newer projects of yours, though atleast know that for a fact I am thankful for having spent so many hours in and on this website and I'll proceed to do so if you let me. Oh, and I'm sorry for acting like a gatekeeper of Sythe. I just can't stop.

@video for being the staff team's dad. When I first joined the team I literally thought he was 60 years old with a bunch of kids though little did I know.. I absolutely dig video for his bluntness and being the outcast of the admin team. Keep being you man.

For those thanking/nominating me, thanks alot. I do value reporting ban evaders greatly because it seems to be a trend that'll never stop. It's a very funny trend aswell, because I've never heard of it ever before I joined Sythe, though then again I've never really been part of any other blackmarket before. Your reasons for nominating me has mostly been for catching ban evaders, so I'm considering you guys are thankful for me indirectly preventing you all for being scammed (as far as I can) though please be aware that I'm basically the devil's advocate here since alot of (ex) staff members consider reporting ban evaders as "head-hunting" and it's basically killing a part of the user-base, a recycled one at that, but still an userbase. Reasons to not do what I do are mainly so that they can learn from their own mistakes, have the opportunity to own up to their offences and such - aside of that we're a free market and granting scammers a second chance to the market seems like something the majority here don't have any problems with. I'm mainly explaining this in the hopes that if Sythe.org still exists in 10 years and I'm not active here anymore, I won't be just remembered as the guy who tightens up the user-base, despite me enjoying receiving so many death threats to smack myself in the head with the biggest rock I can find, or to go neck myself because apparently I live in a basement because I have no life.

I do more than throwing out the trash, hopefully that doesn't go unnoticed aswell. I might be a jerk or sound like one most of the times, but I also have my reasons of being or writing the way I am/do. My closing down shop thread explains a great bit out of this, but there's a whole lot more to it only a few know. I actually am considered very friendly by those who know me well, so perhaps those who say otherwise should try to get to know me better?
