Runescape's New PvP Hints?

You can't honestly say jagex failed already. You make me sick by saying that. Right now they are trying to make YOU happy, you being the ones who whined and bitched about them removing the wilderness. Yes I was mad at first when they started removing the things that I enjoy the most, old pest control, the wilderness, staking and free trade, but overall I do think it has made this game better and better. While I liked autoers who stimulated the economy, I also hated them because there were tons of them fishing at my locations and chopping my trees down that it became out of hand. Now with the removal of the wildy there was a drop in the economy because of the lack of pker stimulation but they did offer bh for those that actually wanted to still pk. Of course even more pkers get to bitch now because they actually have to risk all their items but who cares you still have what you want. Now they are offering another whole server even dedicated to pking. You should be celebrating this instead of flaming it. Now the drop tables are kinda messed up but whose not going to say the drop table will be dependent on what you have on. Say you had full rune with a rune 2h and 50k cash on you. Maybe the drop tables will give each of those a specific number based on their value and that will calculate their rarity and drop rate. So you kill him and he drops a rune full helm because you got that specific rare number set when you finished him. It will probably only drop things that they have on them not totally random things. Thats just what I think, but please think before you yell at jagex more, sure they mess up a lot but they are still trying to make you happy even though they need to eliminate certain cheating aspects of the game. (I'm not against cheating, just scamming because that is just plain wrong...)

 

Nah luring wont make a comeback b/c you will most likely get like a rune full helm even if they have 1mil on them...

 

I don't think that they will drop actual armor and weapons, but it may drop items like 'powerful blasts', or some shit, to defeat monsters more easily and in return, gain more cash

 

How would luring make a come back. It says that the drops are going to be similar to how monster drops work.

 

Very good way to put it... Loads are saying "Shit, Fuck Runescape it's gay now cuz no RWT or scamming noobs and no killing other people...." My response "WHO GIVES A FUCK!! If you don't like it move to a different game... Go be a WoW addict... and let us enjoy Runescape the way we like it..."

 

Then Jagex will flip out again and make another game killing update.

Yea there may be a glitch for the first few weeks where you can lure etc. But im not sure, i suppose nobody really knows until it comes out!

 

y cant they just bring back old pking and old wildy if they done it like how you said they are wont it be hard to find ppl to pk?

 

Can't wait for this but Jagex will find a way to screw this up, with us not getting the opponents items.

 

-High rewards for kills. To avoid any RWT issues the reward for a successful PK will be generated by the game, similar to when you kill a monster at the moment. We're creating generous drop tables based on factors like your levels and the impressiveness of the kill.

 

Luring wont be worth it, since you get coins drop whenever you kill someone

Thats not 100% true, if you read the news page about the update, they will be making the drop table to prevent RWT, but still will be a viable source of income
