Odds of being banned using a fire cape service?

So I've been away from osrs for about two years. Just started playing again two weeks ago. I need a firecape but I've never had luck with the fight caves. So my question is... Is it a risk?

 

not really with fire cape but infernal cape is a different thing

 

I'm ok with the firecape. With my stats I doubt I could get a infernal.

 

I don't think Jagex would really care much about a Firecape, but like here4money said if you went for an inferno cape then they would maybe look at your account.

I've done Firecapes for like 10 people in my clan in the past maybe year and no problem at all. Maybe try and stay away from people from other countries due to IPs.

I haven't heard of Fire Cape's causing any bans for anyone.

very very low risk, as there is not much monitoring of this area however infernal cape is a hot topic for bans at the moment!

 

With a regular fire cape, your risk is almost zero. They only really care about inferno's these days.

It's breaking game rules, so there's always a chance to get suspended. But it's very low - none of my accounts have ever been closed for Fire Cape.

Infernal Cape is a whole different story though.

 

Had my firecape done and didn't have a problem thank goodness.

 

It's not that they don't monitor the fire cape it's just that they are such a common cape now which people can even get on
insanely low level accounts. That's what makes it so rare for them to ban for it, they don't have a good statistically proven reason
to look at any accounts having the fire cape.

 

Close to zero unless the seller is using bots to do it. I won't advertise a specific site but look for one that specifies that they do their kills by hand

 

Don't think they ban for fire cape services, inferno cape is another story though

 

Not ever known someone to get caught for a Firecape service, although I think you should learn it yourself, saves you money on future capes and it’s always good to learn how game mechanics work.
