To be totally honest with you, it doesn't matter where you are standing/popping. I've transferred easily over 100m in plates(not as long as you think if you're me .) and it just matters how many people are in the room. When you're the only person in the room, chances are one of the first 3 you pop will contain the item, anywhere in the room. If there are multiple people, the item has a lower chance of you getting it.

This is probably wrong, but the chart is something like this:

1 player(you!): 99% chance of getting the item.

2 players: 50% chance of getting the item.

3 players: 33.3% chance of getting the item.

4 players: 25% chance of getting the item.

Yeah, I honestly think it's that simple.

My level 36 pure has a purple partyhat! Not that strange/out of the ordinary.. eh? ;D

You stated what i had stated in my guide.
If theres two people in the room OF COURSE theres a 50% chance of getting the item, this guide shows you the methods, on how to use the 50% to your advantage. The same thing goes for two, three, four people ect.

So re-read the guide, and yeah, it really is that simple.
