$200+ Donor scammed me for $215 in BTC for OSRS

Was just scammed by [impostor], had him PM me to confirm it was him on sythe.

I’ve added the final image where he PMs me asking why I “blocked him” on discord.

I don’t understand why I would block someone I just sent $200 to without getting a refund or without receiving the gold.

Also, this to me SCREAMS to me that he has control of the discord I was talking to.

 

Yea, looks like that’s what it was after talking to 2 OMMs. Either way it sucks that people can’t get a real job.

The Discord in the PM listed is iQi#9988. Looks like you got caught in a man in the middle scam. An impostor impersonated you in order to get Kapanko to send a PM so you thought you were speaking to him on Discord. For a confirmation PM to work you need to read the PM that is sent to you and verify all the information is correct. Compare the discord ID's, unique ID's, and text conversation.
