    POLL: Idea posted here = the idea of hit a 10, goes towards 100. Read below.


    Special attacks like runescape would be gay, we want original. Perhaps this idea?

    You use a bow, you hit a 10, you get 10 points out of 100. Once you get 100 points, you do your max hit. Your max hit does not go towards the next 100. You can use this at any time, after you have 100 points.

    'Fatality system':

    3 minute cooldown, finish the person off if (s)he is below 5%. (HAS to be cool effects)

    I personally feel that there should be various types of attacks too choose from during the actual combat. as well as possibly some kind of finishing "blow" based on class and race and build etc... i.e. special fire or flame blast or some kind of powerful sword attack. something as you stated that when they have x% of health it perhaps automatically crits for 2-3x normal power

    But i really think the combat system should be far more diverse than Runescape etc as far as attacks go... I mean, each class should be able too build in different ways for different things !

    The combat system in runescape is so boring... Easting and standing around. I prefer the Wow style of PvP. Big bangs and lots of various types of fights... not exactly like WoW but having the ability to train a class too perhaps a different "talent tree" could affect the types of spells you get and once you reach the end of various levels of your "tree" you get new attacks and levels for other attacks. Perhaps have a different "finishing" attack at various levels of the tree too learn.

    Your idea is ok, it is kind of like a rage system, and i agree that it should be built based on the damage that you do. I also think that you shouldn't have a cooldown but rather you just have too build the "rage" type thing back up... And if you can only use it, say once they are below 25% health you would probably get a maximum of two in.

    i could type more but i am lazy etc, dont get me wrong i like you idea and think it would be complemented by a few other ideas too sort of fully form it.

    So, what I get you saying, is perhaps a Warrior on WoW, with the rage system, and then the attacks you use with rage, would be 'special attacks', plus a finishing blow?

    Critical Strike system, imo... Just add something like a %, you will start with like 5%, and gather items that gives you more...

    And Special attacks, no wai.. Go for abbilities/Skills.

    What about something that charges up when you deal damage, dodge, block etc, and charges "down" when you get hit, your attack was dodged etc? It's much of the same as OP's idea only that it makes it more interesting and dynamic.

    The hits would be too predictable and everyone would just "Safe" towards then end of the fight. I vote a Runescape Style of special attack.

    After you do X amount of damage, you should be able to use the "special attack" to hit your max hit on them. If your max hit can K0 the person, than so be it.

    i think the rs style would be the best but maybe 1 weapon which would require a high lv to obtain (like the abby whip 85 slayer and 70 atck) maybe that one item could have that special attck effect. Not the fatality one the idea posted by the poster that one. :)

    high level weapons should have a special attack
    some rare weapons should have a built in random special ... like barrows effects but just 1 item
    and every charecter should have a quickening , an incredible attack engaged in times of great need rarely.
