RSBot vs. JMacro

nonamekiller is right o.o. can you even still download J-macro? the sections on cheat-scene are gone.

 

I was by cheatscene in the beginning and left not too long after. When I found rsbot, I fell in love. I guess its a bit more user-friendly if youre not reading any tuts..

Doesn't make a bit of difference now anyways because from the posts here Speedster stopped developing Jmacro.


Also to the guy who posted he has a mac: Java= A universal language which means that all OS's that can downloads Java can run rsbot and jmacro.

Btw, to everyone saying RSBot is > SCAR/SRL - Answer me - Why? (I already said why SCAR/SRL>RSBot, on my first post in this thread)

 

RSBot uses BCEL and I would trust it with any of my accounts a lot more than SCAR.

 

An extremely minor issue. If you aren't dumb, you have no chance of losing your account to a SCAR Script. When pressing the play button in SCAR, it'll ask if you want to let SCAR connect to the internet, and lists the specific site it wants to connect to. Look at the site, and if it's something like SRL Stats, let it connect. But if it's something you're not sure about, just take a look at the thread of the script, and check if the author said anything about why it must connect to the internet. If the author doesn't mention it, either ask the author or have someone you trust who knows how to script check the script out. OR you can just not let it connect to the site if you don't feel like checking. If it was something minor, like say the script sent its proggies to a site, then the script will still run, and...yeah, no big deal. If it really was a pass stealer, most likely it will be made to terminate the script if access is denied, THEN you can be suspicious.

EDIT: Oh, you mean while running the script you trust it to not ban you. SRL now uses something that I understand is very similar to BCEL.

jmacro has stopped being updated, the creator said that he felt he HAD to make updates and that it was controlling him basically, but rs bot is way better
