    How to get fat?

    Seriously, I eat alot and sometimes feel like a couch potato mostly in summer.

    My routines, on a busy/school day:

    1. Stress alot
    2. Walks 1-1.5km back and forth to my home
    3. Casually drinks water alot when eating spicy dried peanuts (my favorite snack in class)
    4. Exposed to a hot environment
    5. Mostly goes into the library to cool myself, or *cough* read books *cough*

    My routines, on summer/no class:

    1. Eat
    2. Sleep
    3. OSRS
    4. Repeat

    So far, I did muscle building work outs and drinking "protein" shake, but none of them worked for me :( HELP.

    My history

    1. My family history, especially my dad, he was once a skinny boy like me.
    2. Admitted once to dengue fever (severe).

    What's your daily calorie intake? Try messaging @johncx, he's pretty much the opposite of you (300lbs) and is trying actively to lose weight, perhaps you guys could try and help each other out? :>

    The first thing you need to know is that at some point, your body decides "I am supposed to be this weight." and tries very hard to stay around that point - which can possibly mean that if you do implement a change, you will have to try very hard to keep it up.

    Up your carb and calorie intake. Change your eating schedule. Are you having 3 meals a day? Do 6, even if you have to change portion sizes. Have snacks in between.

    Don't have sex. If you need to release, jack off while lying down. This might sound like a weird point, but there's method here.

    Eat more, if u think ur eating enough. Eat more then again Eat more. Don't stop eating, increasing ur calorie intake is the only solution to gaining weight. drop all the other myths

    My tummy can't take that much food tho. I get a feeling of nausea when I take alot of food. I usually do 3 meals a day with a very large portion of snack high in sugar during the afternoon. I eat like 1 cup of rice meal with a little meat on the side during breakfast, 2 cups on lunch, then 1-2 cups on dinner.

    Any tips to prevent me from puking for eating too much?

    Honestly, wake up and drink coffee, at least 2-3 cups a day (tea also works) & use cream & sugar.
    Try to eat at least 3 eggs & a couple pieces of white toast for breakfast (more if you can)
    It's important you continue to move your body & do your walking
    For lunch, try to eat things like burgers & chicken & steak and be sure to have bread/potatoes with it & a can of soda.
    Dinner, same thing, try and eat a bunch of potato/grain products, meat & sugar/fatty stuff.
    Drink alot of milk as well.

    If you make those changes and start to drink coffee/tea with cream & sugar every day, combined with alot of bread/potato stuff
    in your diet, with meat, cheese, and fatty greasy food, you should have no choice but to gain weight.

    Also, eating alot of your favorite candies / cookies / chips will help to.

    Now, the reason I am not posting eat only sugar and fat and don't do anything, is even though you want to gain weight & be a fatter
    person, you don't want to gain any health risks while doing so. It's very important that you don't eat enough bad stuff to the point
    where you would be prone to any heart diseases, diabetes, kidney stones, etc.

    Up your calorie intake. You seem to have a fast metabolism and all you have to do is eat more. Try switching to mass as it has more calories compared to a protein shake

    No coffee and tea. Also, cut out sugar.

    Drink more water. Get enough sleep (8-9h).

    Make your own gainer. Almonds, milk, banana, 1 scoop proteinshake, peanutbutter, and blend it all together. It should be around 800 calories and it's way easier to consume.

    Get your vitamins and Omega 3.

    I've acid reflux, and the stuff mentioned above has helped me immensely.

    Having 8-9 hours sleep per day is rare for me, I'm a med student. technically, most of my time is taken by studying and stressing alot, and when I'm stressed, I really don't like to eat. and yeah, I'm in the sweet gang. taking lots of sweet is my habit when I do shit tons of work.

    foods you mentioned above like milk is not suitable for me. i'll get pimples if I drink/eat milk and almonds.

    Sub milk and almonds for something else. And you gotta stop with sweets. You recognize it as a problem, and no doubt it's amplifying your eating problem.

    At the very least make your days as efficient as possible. Meditate, a quick workout etc. helps a lot. That way you'd get 7h sleep. Whether you like it or not your sleeping issues is because you're not efficient. People work 14h+ at some IB and still get enough sleep, so being a med student isn't an excuse.

    Ok so everyone here has some good points and bad points but the only way to get FATTER is to eat more CALORIES. Calories are energy so if you eat more Calories/Energy than what you're suppose to everyday, your body saves them for later as FAT. First thing i would do is to see how many CALORIES you need a day. To do this, go to this website Calorie Calculator and input your Weight/Height/Activity level to find out your daily caloric intake. Now when you calculate it will give you 4 options: Maintain weight, Lose 0.5lbs/week, Lose 1lb/week or Lose 2lb/week. If you want to get FATTER you need to eat more calories than your MAINTAIN weight calories. This is very simple, get the MyFitnessPal app or any app that tracks calories and track EVERY LITTLE THING that goes in your mouth. This way you won't under eat.

    Listen to your body. You do not want to be fat. You want to be healthy. If you feel well during regular exercise and maintain regular eating habits, ie within the "normal" range of Calories per day for your bodytype and metabolism, then you will find your healthiest possible natural weight.

    I'm thin like you. I'm 6' tall and ~145 lbs and have weighed roughly this since high school, fluctuating with my exercise habits (I mostly do cardio exercises and rarely lift weights). That being said, I should probably exercise more because I consider my healthiest weight to be around 152-155 lbs.

    Everyone is different. Many people are completely incapable of becoming thin like us. They might make a thread titled "How to get thin?" and people might respond with the usual rant, exercise, eat better, diet, blah blah, but in reality it is their genetics that determines their healthiest bodies appearance..

    but if you really want to become obese... the best way to destroy your body and ruin your metabolism is to binge and purge. basically you binge on junk food for a few days and then, digest that filth, try to consume as many calories as possible. then for the next week, you need to throw up every meal you eat, tricking your body into thinking its eating when in reality you are depriving it of energy, making your body crave calories that it doesnt have. after a week, you binge on more junk food, 10,000 calories a day. Warning: this will also probably give you diabetes before it makes you obese. Repeating this will make your body think it needs to be continuously storing energy in the form of fat, just in case you don't eat for a few days, or start purging again. once your metabolism is completely fucked you will start packing on pounds you won't be able to lose.

    Its genetics, also it is a missconception that saturated fat makes you «fat». What do you think is more likely to add wieght to your body?
    A super fat hamburger patty or the hamburger bread?.. The bread, sugar is what makes you fat.

    That being said, big amounts of fries and patties will eventually make you obese. You drink a lot of water? Good. Keep it that way, don’t eat/drink sugar all the time and your weight is likely to remain the same.
