Guide on how to lengthen a school paper

Lengthening your school papers​

Hey everyone, this is my first post and first topic ever. In this guide, I will be showing you how to lengthen your school paper. This is helpful in high-school, college and university. Keep in mind that you already need a text already made for this to work.


Step #1.

The first thing you will want to do is open an ordinary Word Document and press Ctrl + F which is the short key to the 'Find and Replace' option (as shown below):




Step #2.

Next thing you will want to do is to is click on the Replace tab (as shown below)




Step #3.

Once there, put a period [.] in both fields being the "Find What" and "Replace With" fields (as shown below):




Step #4.

After that, go to More.




And then highlight the 2nd period. (As shown below)




Step #5.

Once you highlighted the 2nd period, go to "Format" and then "Font...".




Step #6.

Once you clicked on "Font...", go to the size bar on the right hand side and choose size 14 and then press OK.




Step #7.

Make sure that the period in the first box is size 12 and the period in the second box is size 14.




Step #8.

Once you have done that, click 'Replace All' which is going to basically replace all the size 12 periods to size 14 periods. It should then show that the text will have an X number of periods replaced which should be all of them.




Here are the results that can possibly be achieved with changing all the periods (Note: teachers will most likely NOT catch on to this):

4 and half pages ---> Full 5 pages
9 pages ---> Full 10 pages
16 pages ---> Full 19 pages
...

Those results are there just to give you an idea of how significant the change in space is when you change the periods to a slightly bigger size. It is barely noticeable and so I will put up a picture showing you the difference between a size 12 period and a size 14 period:



Frankly, there is little to no difference at all and it makes a world of difference. Another thing you can do is that you can change all the periods and make them smaller in case you don't have enough room to fit in all the words into your essay page frame.

Some less fortunate haven't and are unaware of this.

And I have not learned this in tech/computer class, I doubt that schools would even dare talk about such a subject which can so easily be exploited lol. There is no need to quote my entire topic, by the way.

Why did you go specifically making a guide as your first post? Is this a seperate account or something?

 

I've been viewing these forums as a guest for the past couple of years and have watched these forums slowly evolve. I was around when the first forum had been shut down even (well, I believe that's what happened).

Since I am no longer interested so much in Runescape itself, I figured I would give posting a shot on these forums and meet the people whom seem to be "Jagex's worst enemy".
