    Well for those of you who want to play rs on your desktop here it is.

    STEP 1
    Ok so here it goes, open up notepad

    STEP 2
    Copy this code into notepad.

    Code:
    <html><head><title>runescape</title></head>
<body bgcolor="black"><div align=center">
<iframe src="http://world94.runescape.com/p0" width="1000"
height="800"></iframe>
</div></body>
</html>

    CUSTOMIZE
    ok so let me break this down, because for best results you need to cusomize that code. ok so you only need to change one major thing in the code. The src or in other words what webpage you want to open.

    So
    Code:
    <iframe src="http://world94.runescape.com/p0" width="1000"
height="800"></iframe>
    instead of "world94.runescape.com/p0" put whatever world you want, so just change the number 94. If you want world 65 you will put
    Code:
    <iframe src="http://world65.runescape.com/p0" width="1000"
height="800"></iframe>

    Now you are almost done. Go to "save as" on notepad and change "txt document ".txt"" to all files and save as runescape.html.

    Now right click on your desktop and go to properties.
    [​IMG]

    Now click on the desktop tab and click on browse, find the file you made names runescape and open it and click apply. Now you have runescape on your desktop.

    Knew this ages ago, did it with habbo hotel lawl. Nice reminder though thanks, theres a much easier way though.

    I am not aware of any easier way, but this is to help people out. Also thanks for the positive comments.

    Forgot to rate it hehe, 10/10, except for your background, ouch my eyes! [The green rofl!]

    Hmm i'm going to mess with my desktop a bit with HTML documets, maybe add rickroll javascript and see if my whole desktops moves! Joking, it obviously wont, probably stay in a fixed area that's predefined lol.

    For some reason, it will load.. but then it will say "Cannot connect to update server".

    I can't figure out why the hell not.

    Are you sure you copied everything correctly?
    Also a connection error might be coming from a firewall that is blocking IE from accessing runescape.com so check any active firewalls.

    not sure about vista, it works on xp and thats what I have

    I have and it works, so have some people that posted above.
