How to deal with some Problems while biking

This guide will show you how to deal with some problems while biking. I bike a lot and there are somethings that really make me mad and some things that are just small nuisances. I will tell you guys how to fix or deal with some problems.

This is my 1st guide so give me Ideas to make it better.

    1) The Most annoying thing for me is a thrown off chain. I hate getting my hands dirty on a road and having no place to clean them. They are most frequent on uphills when you try to change your main gear, (1,2,3 your small gears are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) this is why you should gear up OR down when going up hill, do it before the hill and then use your small gears to make it easier or harder as needed.

Things to do. Get a leaf or a piece of paper and wrap it around the chain and pull it out and over the metal edged circle. (I dont know the name but the things that kinda look like gears used for gearing) If it is stuck try moving the pedal back and forth. Then try again. If it is still stuck then just use force. Once you manage to get it on then pick up the rear of the bike and just use your hand to pedal a little to get the gears on the right track. Then you are done and ready to ride.

    2) Annoying cars that stop behind you because they are worried about hitting you. I always get someone to drive behind me thinking I'm suddenly going to swirve out and hit them or fall. They solution is simple, use the hand closer to them to give them a little pass me motion, and then they will most likely pass you, and you have nothing to worry about.

    3) Wheelie. I still haven't gotten to do a wheelie on my Mountain bike but on a bmx it is a little easier. Slow down to a barely moving speed and put the pedals in a position you can easily move them from with force. Then give the handlebars a tug and pedal with your feet a few times. It WILL take a few times of practice, and you WILL most likely get a feeling your about to loose control. You should try and learn to like that feeling as it will give you adrenaline(something I love) and over time you will just be accustomed to it and will have total control. With a mountain bike its a little more difficult but I seen some REALLY steep angles with them, around 85*. Those are really nice too look at and REALLY HARD to do.

    4) Loosening brakes. I hate when I'm biking and my brakes fade. You need a wrench that will fit the head of the screw and then you will need to loosen it. After you loosed it pull the wire a little farther away from the breaks and then hold it there while you tighten. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS DEVICE IS LOCATED it is located on the breaks themselves right above the tire unless you have disk brakes, in which case they are around the disk somewhere.

More to come soon :) thank you for reading
