How to protect myself as an account seller & free account renter? Somebody tried framing me

Ok so I have a ton of accs lined up for sale. all of which have an unregistered email and good stats.

due to the nature of this, my accs are in extremely high demand. I get soooo many messages every day of the worst offers ever and its getting kinda annoying lol. I have so many accounts just sitting that I'm going to start renting out 1 or more of my duel arena accounts for free. obviously i will need to put an email on them but i guess i'll just keep it or something for continuous free rentals.

Somebody has already attempted to pin a scam/hack on me. They were implying that I was the one who recovered the account because I was the original owner. While it is true that I have the original info, it would be absolute zero sense to recover one shitty little account. That would literally render my 20 other accounts to be worth zero because I wouldn't be able to sell them anymore.

I need advice on how I should approach account selling. Keep in mind these accounts are quite literally raw as fuck. one login (fake burner email such as [email protected]), one password. all original.

The person who tried to frame the hack on me even claimed to be the "original owner" when he resold the acc I sold him for like 100m profit than what I sold it to him for.

What can I do to prevent people from trying to frame ME?

like im just tryna build up my vouches. but don't wana get in another super dramatic situation even tho i had absolutely no part of it. the guy litearlly said he wanted to kill the other guy lmfao.

 

Account selling can be difficult.

I'm pretty sure someone can't just say you recovered an account if you didn't.

Also, you can put in terms of service while dealing with account trades that people have to agree to. I always try to make these
as best as possible to protect the both of us.

 

if youre gonna start a staker service, don't make it free. It would look like more of a scam in that sense. Just a tip

 

Best way is to just have a proper t.o.s so these people will just avoid you (this might lose you some legit customers too but not dealing with malicious ppl is worth it)

 

the free incentive is to get people interested of course. obviously imma tell em its only meant for small stakes. i got hella stakers just sitting at the ge doing nothing so i was like hey why not.

what rules do you recommend I should put in? normally i have that i'm not responsible for anything that happens to the acc afterwards but worried somebody might try to frame me again. not a fun experience

yeah that is what i was worried about. somebody tried to frame me like 2 days ago for recovering an account even tho i wasn't the one who did it. It was the first person i sold that account to (and he ended up selling it to a 3rd guy). what are my rights in that situation?

funny enough both people are banned i think.

 

Just make sure you have a terms of service in place that protects you the best you can without making it completely unsafe
for the buyer of the account.

My ToS usually involves something like I will not be responsible for the account being hacked, scammed, banned, or any account
compromising action, and I will not be responsible for lost items on the account if you do get hacked. If the account deems to be
unsafe and the seller unhappy, I will offer a refund & take the account back with no items being replaced.

Things like this show that you're the original owner, and that you're willing to refund and take the account back if something
happens to them.

You can make any ToS you want, it just has to make sense.

 

when you rent accounts make sure you indicate specific rules in your thread to avoid situations that could get you banned or TWC'd here on sythe. also build a little reputation, sell smaller accounts and gain some trust in the community than you will get some momentum and people will realize your here to do good business. don't scam anyone, over time you will make good money and there's nothing more valuable than a good reputation. scammers are so annoying, and stupid

 

so i've been looking at other people's terms of services and modified a TOS that sorta takes from everything.

i JUST recently started my new FREE maxed main rental service. you think the terms of service is enough to cover me if somebody tries to accuse me of scamming/hacking?

i don't know if many users on this forums are able to think LOGICALLY. because 2 people i've dealt with in the past certainly had zero logic..

but to whose who think i would scam on a free maxed main rental service... why the fuck would I scam a little bit of money when the account itself is worth WAY more. on top of me losing my ability to lose the other 20+ accs i have for sale on sythe.

just seems like basic logic. anyways heres the tos

this is what i put:

• Terms of Service for FREE Max staker rental.
• Private must be set to ON at all times
• You are not allowed to leave the duel arena W302
• Timer starts when you receive the login details
• You are not allowed to break the runescape in-game rules (i.e. botting, scamming)
• You are not allowed to real world trade or share account details with ANYONE
• You are not allowed to live stream
• You are not allowed to ask for a refund (its free lmfao)
• You are not allowed to commission stake
• You are not allowed to take any items from the account or break the whip
• You can only trade with your own account
• If you are logged out for more than 5 minutes your time will end
• I am not responsible for any bans on the account. If it gets banned it is because YOU broke a rule.
• I am not responsible for any valuables on the account while renting. This is literally a free service. Don’t fucking put 500m on it.
• After your time is up, you have 5 minutes to transfer your wealth.
• By using my services, you AUTOMATICALLY agree to my terms.
