Hey guys, I'm looking for some VPS or dedicated to start my farm, any ideas?

Searched for VPSGamers and Virmach but they honestly don't fit me since they are too expensive for crappy specs.

    Ty!!

I would have recommended Virmach - they've been on the scene for quite awhile. You mentioning their cost and specs had me wondering if I'm too out of touch in that regard...looked at their plans and they seem very reasonable or even cheap compared to setups I've used in the past.

If you don't know how to setup a Linux environment for botting (SSH, Desktop Environment, VNC, command line), then VPSGamers is your best bet. (See coupon code and link in sig). Since they come presetup to bot.

If you do know how to setup. Then just Google around and compare a few VPSs, or try LowEndBox , there's lots of good companies out there.

I'm botting well on my tier.net VPS (link and setup guide in sig). Happy with their price/performance and support.

I'm almost finishing my computer science graduation so setting up a Linux environment isn't a big deal, the real deal is that Linux seems to be less powerful than Windows, maybe a dedicated would be a good option?

Tier.net seems pretty good, I liked that bronze level for a Dual Xeon L5520 because of how many cores and threads it has, which is very required depending on what you are botting, but I found one pretty good also on ovh.com

    Da hael?
Pretty sure (most) Linux distros use less resources than Windows.
Plus, Linux VPSs are cheaper, since windows has a license key.

Yea, a dedicated server promises more power than a VPS.
I'd recommend botters use a VPS first, start small, and expand as needed.
Don't go out buying a dedi and wasting money when you don't know how to bot successfully yet.

Yeah, it's not too hard, just a matter of running some commands.
But for someone brand new, it can be overwhelming at first. So that's where I recommend VPSGamers (see sig for coupon)
I've got step by step VPS setup info in my guide here - How to Setup a Tier.net VPS for Runescape Botting
