    Like the person in the article said, I doubt we'd be that vulnerable to botnet attacks. If we were we would have seen the sites being down. They're just blowing it out of proportion. The only way is through some super secret exploit found, which would be pretty hard to find. So I don't think it would be brought down by a couple of script kiddies.

    Whoah. -Must read-

    ebay and yahoo have both been victims of botnet attack threats, and ransoms. To be honest there are people that hate the US govt. that much that they would indeed use a botnet to bring down their network. Also the IP addresses of the US defence systems are common knowledge, a botnet attack of that large of a scale will definately bring it down, even if redirecting is employed.

    i dont think they will be able to bring it down, because i do think the US has a backup or something in an other land (like they always have, even with missiles....)
