    Creationism vs. evolution

The earth does revolve around the sun, that is proven. The sun has a gravitational field which attracts all of our masses into an orbit.

Evolution is based on evidence of animals transforming and adapting to suit certain conditions. Some lizards for example developed a second translucent eye lid to protect it from being blinded by venom in a fight with various species of cobra.

Creationism is based on knowledge passed from generation to generation and has many different interpretations, based on hearsay and little hard solid evidence.

    Creationism vs. evolution

Creationism is taught in my school, but I go to a Catholic school. I'm guessing if they don't have religion class in public schools then they wouldn't teach creationism.

    Creationism vs. evolution

I don't see why people get so angry when people ask should Creationism be taught in school. People say it should not because it is just a theory. The thing is that juse because its a theory people shouldnt discuss it? If a teacher asked you a question in school and asked for you own opinions, isnt that a theory of the question? Bottom line. It should be taught if the STUDENTS want to learn about something else than guys and monkeys doing stuff to create AIDS.

    Creationism isn't a theory, it's ideology. There's a huge difference.

A fairy tale is not a theory.

Also, in this country at least, one thing leads to another. I choose to fight the Creationists here, as opposed to when they arrest me for blasphemy.

Well if they don't allow prayer in public schools and they used to, when my mom went to school they did in public schools. So if it isn't allowed then I guess you shouldn't teach it since it has to do with God.

    Err, does this help? ---

    List of Transitional Fossils

Edit: Disproved as frauds? Here's a list of human fossils (only human) which show evolution at work:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_human_evolution_fossils

Wikipedia isn't very detailed on these topics, but I think those pages alone prove you wrong.
