I'm buying a 360.

Ok guy's im buying a 360 and i need to know what i need i have the money i just need to know what i need to get, all im interested in playing is halo 3 and call of duty 4. so can anyone help me out? (also includes what console i should buy) would a xbox 360 arcade be fine with the small memory card?

 

Buy the Xbox 360, if you would like to play Call of Duty 4 competitively then i suggest you buy Turtle Beach headsets for starters.

The main reason i would choose Xbox 360 over Ps3 would have to be that the PS3's network is VERY laggy though it is free.

I believe you need the xbox 360 pro to go online. Everything you need except the games comes with the console, so you're set right out of the box. Note: Don't leave your xobx on carpet when playing. I did that and I overheated it. $100 to fix. >.<

 

If you really don't plan on downloading stuff then the arcade should be sufficient .

 

Yea, Flameset is right. Or just buy a PS3 only thing is its laggyer (When your online) But its also free so thats a good thing.

 

Get the Xbox 360 Elite console, you'll need the extra HD space for the new update. Saving games onto the HD ect.

It also looks nicer.

 

there is a new xbox360 pro I recently traded in my 360 for a newer 1 at argos since I had replaced my xbox gue to that gay RROD. its 60 GB and same price as a 20GB console.

 

Get the new 60gb console, and if you need any help when you start halo3 pm me.

Make sure to read up and ask questions that it works.

I got my xbox for $420 and it came with 12 games, 2 wireless controllers and 2 wired and a wireless head set. also a guitar hero 3 guitar.

well if you wanna play h3 theres no question because x360 is only console that has h3 so you should do that because its a good investment because you get a free warranty

 

Get the 60GB 360.

 

HALO3 is one of the best games online. They Built the game For online. I would sell my xbox if i didn't have Xbox live.

 

For just Halo 3 & Call of Duty 4, you will need:

-XBOX 360 with HARD DRIVE
-TV Cables & Power Cord
-360 Controller
-Headset (optional)

That's all I use for Halo 3 & CoD4.

Avoid the Elite and go for a Pro/Premium Pack. It has everything you need.

 

get fable 2 if its out or when it comes out fable 1 was OWNAGE so fable 2 should be like the same

 

Yeah it comes with 120gb memory aswel, twice the memory of the ps3

 

I suggest Xbox Elite, I could sell you mine.. I'll give you a little discount only one minor scratch.

 

I personally think the Elite is unnecessary. I'd go for the 60GB though.

Buy the normal xbox 360 and get Turtle Beach X1's which are like $60 and you can hear lots of things. But only buy if your going to play competitively like on gamebattles.

or you can buy the wireless Turtle Beaches (X3's) which are around $80-$90
