Sythe.org MMORPG?

yeahhh that'd be soo cool you should maike it have pvp like rs used to

 

Sythe.... it does look abit like rs new update hd stuff but if u ever need help with coding or anything i can do it i am currently working for a world wide company who designs games such as monster hunter and stuff like that MMORPG so i am hear if you need me

 

nonononononoooooooooooooo make every item tradeble so rwt is a big must lol

and as for the funding part,

why not set up % and other stuff for programmers, make it f2p / p2p l;ike runescape and have programmes gfet a cut of the profits

 

I think the camera of the game should be a little more facing the earth, kinda like the game series "warcraft" (not WoW) first you begin as an adventurer (depending on what race you pick, until a certain lvl you'll just be playing with your race) as you proceed in the game, you learn that you must gather a few people to assist you through your adventure, for example , a magician or a ranger or a priest etc etc.. and your walking around with these guys following you (your controling them now), so when you engage in a fight you'll be able to chose what member you want to fight with and ofc the camera mode will change and no 1 will be able to interfere in the fight exept maybe its in a specific place where multi-attacking is possible, so your bassicly controlling many char but you have a main 1 (with the name that you start with) I dont think aim would be such a good idea in a mmorpg because it kinda reminds me of a flash game =\.. i think aim should be used very rarely in quests or fights.
(extremely sorry for the bad spelling, ideas were popping in my head soo fast, I'll post more of my ideas after i finish orginizing them in notepad before i post)

you have suggested something about worldscapes, medevil , si-fi , magical shit. i think you have to chose where to start and until a certain point in the game, you'll be able to interact/fight or whatever with the other races. (and erm... no gums, and if you are gona implement them, make bows and crossbows equally powerfull just like in WoW.)

I suggest something else like dis-continued items in RS, so the begining players have something to hold on to and kind of an advantage for the late comers.

So say if you create a game on these forums (which i think is an excellent idea ) then if its good, and you add a p2p feature like members on runescape you could make millions.:noworry:

hmm yeh good idea, but about wat sumone said with it being challenging for max lvl... it would be better if there was a lower max lvl or sumthing like tht because a game tht requires more skill to be better then sumone who grinds lvls would b much more interesting to play, i like the idea of wildy pvp like ppl have been saying alot

 

so is it gonna be like runescape? or not? if it a game like runescape, i might play it every now and then. Now maybe, you cold have a fullscreen and stuff.

I think that it's a great idea. Everyone wants it to be like runescape but better. But I think it should be a mix of different games all added together to make the biggest best MMORPG.

 

The games you guys should mix together into the Sythe MMORPG should be Runescape, WoW, Oblivion, and Diablo 2.
Also, maybe add some mini games INSIDE it, like Stronghold Crusader.
