Whats a MUST have. (1 Defence)

I've recently had son, my time now with being able to play is literally limited to an hour a day if I'm lucky with working a full time job and then coming home to take the strain of the child off my partner.

Therefore I've liquidated my main, sold everything I had on the account and Xfered it all to my pure, simply because in the short time I have per day I would like to pk, now with that being said I have a some GP, so before I consider selling the GP what should as a 1 defence pure have?

1 Prayer

Only things I see missing in your current list are mithril gloves and mage arena cape

I would also get 85 Magic and 85 Ranged and max out your STR without a CB level to match.

True I reckon I'll bulk spending construction to get 85ish for a decent house.

I like low level pking I'm level 50 and feels good with that fcape.

everybody likes having a low level pure until they realize the meta is just GMAUL rushing all day...

So either max out strength for your combat without HP or learn what a phoenix necklace is

Next on my list

I don't rush, I either fire wave to g maul pk or range to g maul depending on if I'm skulling or not, either way my risk per death is over the 200k mark.

Do you really find this combat bracket fun? It's literally just doing the same Gmaul combo over and over

Construction

 

Construction is definitely a big deal on an edge/pvp world pker. It's so easy to just reset everything with a single home teleport tab.

 

To be honest I don't have the patience to learn to NH and the time it'll take I simply don't have, atleast with BH I'll always have a fight every 2 - 3 mins.

Yea working on the mage arena cape 2 for that show off effect since I wouldn't risk it in pvp due to lost on death

Just started my pure and did a lot of planning to what i'm going to do. planning a similar build but 15 pray with avas, till i get bored then ill go regular pure nh, 60 atk , 52 pray

Well i'm assuming you quested your stats perfectly. This is important incase you want to change the build in the future, to higher prayer.. which would unlock things like avas, prayers (OBV), anchor, ect..
At only 50 attack that doesn't really leave you with many options of +1s to get. If you plan to go 60 in the future maybe grab a pair of claws, or if you plan to go 75 an ags or a TOSD. Depending on what type of pking you prefer, of course.

You have most the essentials, So I would say get like 50-100 sets of gear, 100 black chaps/msb/recoils/coifs ect, and set it up so you can bank fast. this is always a good feeling on a pk acct to have a bunch of sets, ready to go organized how you like to gear up fast. especially with a pure since fights are fast deaths are common and the gear is cheap and rather expendable.

other than that, everything else i could say has been said. build up your house, you can save a lot of money with the eyes of glouphrie quest.. that +3 boost isn't much but that could be a mil xp which is like 10m extra cash. You can try a fire cape but you wouldn't catch me getting a fire cape without protection prayers. im sure if i dedicated the time I could, but cba. from what youve said id assume you feel the same way.

 

oh, and a 100k cannon balls or so wont hurt to get your range up and keep your hp and therefore your cbat low

 

Just train up the stats

 

Maybe consider an imbued archers/berserker ring
