[PHP] Runescape goal signatures

I'll be releasing the source to these soon.

Does it have a user system for people to make the signatures? Or are they all manually updated by one interface/user?

 

It has a user interface (creation page) included, and they are as updated as the highscores page is.

What I meant by updatable is the creation page (and all of its settings) does not require any editing once you have added another background, or if Jagex creates another skill.

Like my highscores made in VB6, it reads another page on the Runescape website and adds all of the stats to a separate file. So instead of having to edit HTML or the PHP script everytime a new skill is added you run the update.php script and it is all done for you.

 

Sounds like you put a lot of work into it. How long did it take you to make this?

 

About 8 hours. Most of it was just fiddly work though, fine tuning and bug stomping.

A new system for managing ranks is being made and worked on as we speak, by Matthew. Everyone still has their ranks, even though they may not appear so.

 

ahh k... fair enough... though i have notice that some others still have their rank, such as you or covey why is that?

 

I would believe it has something to do with being a moderator? I've noticed that the only people who have not lost ranks are not moderators...

 

Changes:

• Updated with the third image.
• Fixed a small GDI 2.0 bug with the percentage sign.

Just making some final changes to the user interface then it will be up for grabs.


Any opinions? Problems? Suggestions? e-penis remarks?

Begging your pardon, but I've been working on my website in order to display these, and my other creations.

It will be up within the week.

 

LMFAO... talk about impatient... lulz be thankful he is releasing this to the public.. dont demand when it will be released, coz every creation is a masterpiece

 

Maybe not a masterpiece, but it does take a bit of time to get these looking nice and working properly.

It's a small test, so it's not perfect, but at least the framework is there.

 

Have you previously released similar work? I could have sworn I've seen signatures like those.

 

I released these back a few years, however the images are new.

The animated version was asked for by a friend, so I decided to try my hand at it.

PHP generated signatures arn't exactly rare, but I haven't seen any other sources released.
So I can probably say that there has been similar work around.

 

I have your older ones, the ones that looked like draynor.net? Those worked like a charm but they're dead now .
