    My brother had the same thing happen

    Its because jagex changed your age thing when you sign up, you can only use quick chat now. I know not of a fix :X

    What does your age have to do with letting you talk in-game?

    Well Phat, since you've already sent in the bug report, most you can do is see how they reply.

    Maybe try DL'ing the client? Worth a try
